It is a very neat thing you have here for the inventory, not that I have one, as you can see I'm sure. But when I do eventually meet my gold count aim, and begin to purchase items, I might arrange them according to the aliases I've created. I'm always daydreaming about what it might be like to be a mutant and X-Men (woman), or some kind of pointy-eared and fanged creature. I've all kind of different fantasy settings in my mind, I should write them down, instead I make avatars. So, I think it will be very fun to see how I can play around with my drawers. Of course, it may be better to just put the clothes in one drawer, sock and shoes in another, weapons in another, etc, etc. I'm not going to be overly picky about it, but I do like to be organized. I hate feeling like nothing makes sense, so I reckon I joined Mene just in time for this new layout. I'm looking forward to spending time deciding how to arrange ME.

i don't have that many items, so right now it's all messy and unorganized^^ i somehow cannot find a good scheme of organization and i usually sell all my old items in order to get new ones^^

I haven't put any items into drawers, since I have them all arranged in the main area. I have my commons first, arranged by how they go on the avatar (hats first, then necklaces, shirts, etc). Next come the EIs, in order of when they were released (Vday 07 -> 1000 users, etc), and further arranged by the order they were released in the event (like hallopop comes before the ghostie kitties). Next comes the CIs, in chronological order :3
I'd only use the drawers if I need to keep item A away from the rest of my group. |
I have nine drawers.... head items, tops, skirts, shorts, etc.

Suteki - That's really interesting and something I hadn't thought of... Arranging the drawers from top to bottom on the avatar. XD I'm... I'm considering stealing the idea. LOL.

Hah, it just made sense to me, since I don't arrange my clothes IRL by color; I sort them out by type :3 Plus, I arrange my items on every other site/game like that. It has become a habit.

I just lump my limited edition items in one drawer and keep the rest in my main inventory. it's simple as that.:sweat:

I'm really happy that we are now able to organize our inventories.
I haven't made any drawers yet but I do plan to make a drawer that will hold all of my extra items (items that I have multiples of). I currently have my inventory set up by how the items go on the avatar more or less. I have hats together, then accessories, tops, bottoms, shoes, etc. Then within those groups I have it grouped by color. This is generally how I keep my inventory organized on other sites. Right now my commons, event items, and CIs are all grouped together. I don't know if I'm going to seperate them. |
I have three draws. My main inventory, one for CI's and another for EI's.
In the case of the CI & EI draws, i have them ordered based on their order of month & event. |
I finally got around to organising my inventory. :sweat: I didn't do much though. I have one separate drawer for duplicate items/investments that I just throw things into and don't bother to keep organised. My main inventory is organised by contribution items in order of release date, event items in order of release date, and then commons organised somewhat from head to toe with accessories at the end, kind of not really in rainbow order. My inventory is still pretty messy. XD;; |
I only have it split up with Donation Items, Event Items and main inventory. T_T

I have drawers for head/face items, handhelds, accessories, pets/backgrounds, extras (items that haven't been put on my mule yet, or extra items that I'm selling) and my main inventory.
My Main inventory is organized by color, but my others are still kind of messy because I can't organize them yet XD;; All my rares are mixed in with my commons, I had a 'rares' drawer before but it was kind of pointless xD; |
Seeing as I only have two inventory items as yet, I found it sort of pointless to create drawers to organize them.. heh.
However, I plan to organize them by location (head/face, tops, bottoms, legs, shoes) as a side note, I've gotten gold every time I've posted quick reply.. |
It might just be a few people not getting gold via Quick Reply... If so, it will have to be something that takes some testing to pinpoint. XD;

So far I have only arranged my inventory by position on my body...I haven't made any drawers yet. I am going to soon...

I am going to buy some drawers soon to label them like the the layers on the MAC.

I have a separate drawer for each set of event items, because I like to keep event sets all together in one place and separated from everything else. XD
Then I have another drawer for miscellaneous event items that came as single items and a drawer for CIs. All my commons are just in the main drawer. I don't have enough commons that it would be sensible for me to create a drawer for each. It seems silly to waste my gold to have one item per drawer. TOO MANY CLICKS! |

I do like the new inventory system. I've just got the three drawers which suits me for now. LOL any more and I'd confuse them all.
clothing - tops, bottoms, dresses, socks and undergarments go here. accessories - shoes, jewelry, belts and things for my head go here. other - items held in hands, pets and floaty things. |
