@Mac: Right now the arcade games are the only ones available. We had a few others before we changed software, but they need to be recoded so they're more secure.

And then she'd threaten me on MSNM to get on and chat with her in there so we could keep the pages going, luls~ And her talking about her job and getting all lovey-dovey with a boy at work. She even casually told me explicit stories about him; even though I didn't care to hear. XD She had that "I don't care if you don't want to listen, I'm going to tell you anyways!" attitude. But I luffed her nonetheless. <33

I remember a lot of those things. I joined in the spring of '07 so I missed the first events, but the rest I do kinda recall.

The fishing glitch was probably the best (although still bad) thing that happened to me after they gave everyone a bunch of gold to make up for it. I was so happy to finally be able to buy clothes, I was having a hard time getting gold up to that point. After that it was a lot easier for me.

I think the whole fiasco with Mike happened while I was on a break last year, so I had no idea what happened before I read some replies in this thread. I missed the first few Giving Back auctions on that break too, but I got my V-Day belt from it a while ago after trying and failing a million times. :sarcasm:

I miss fishing. I didn't start playing it until... months after it was released, because I didn't want to lose gold in the beginning lol. That 2.5k to compensate for the glitch was really helpful though! I felt riiiich bitch.

There have been so many user run events now and more in planning, wow. Weird to think how it all started with Dare's summer carnival.

I've been here since March 07. I can't remember exactly when I became a mod though. It was a long long time ago though, lol.

I wasn't a mod when the Mike fiasco happened but I was online to see all the posts before they were moved so I knew what happened then. Later, when I got on staff, I got to clean up a lot of what he did on the back end (he raped several accounts).

I remember users profiting off of a card glitch, off of fishing...twice, the hackings (*waves to Marie*), the bannings, the carnival. I remember when Warning came over to tell us that a user in the underground had a list of people he was going to try to get banned, which most of you probably won't remember since we took care of that rather quickly.

I remember getting my first piece of art from a user and that lead to us being really close friends today.

I remember a lot of little things.

And Juru is just old...

I remember when Exchanging would get you blacklisted on so many lists it wasn't even funny. Back in May o7 or So. I remember when Aeris, Jelly and Kale were the first 3 mods after Otohime, Lilithia, and Mike.

Edit:: I might as well clean out the air regarding Juru's post about the Card Glitch, the two people who found it out at the time back in April o7, or at least the two people that people hated at the time, was me and my brother, back when 1k was a lot for this community, we ended up with 38k + , the glitch wasn't something we exploited to the public, in reality, we didn't know it was a glitch to be honest, we thought it was just suppose to happen. We didn't spend anything of the gold, because we were scared about getting our accounts banned as 100 of users harassed us, and we still have no clue till today why. Including Azure, the person who exploited the Fishing glitch. In the end hours later Josh removed my gold and everything was fine. Just some old Mene history I felt like sharing, despite that it's negative towards me. :]

You weren't the only ones as I recall but I wasn't on staff at that time so I don't know all of the details. It's all good Ayx. No worries.

I loved the past times. They were really awesome. =]
