Is your brain still working in overtime,
dying a little bit each day as you desperately struggle to solve all my puzzles?
Well never fear! Knerd here with both a collection of solutions
and a list of winners.
This contest had a total of:
40participants!
Over 175 puzzle entries!
102 of which were correct!
But don't worry folks, not everyone can be a smarty pants. For those of you who got more wrong answers than right, you'll be getting the At Least You're Pretty Award. Keep a lookout for a tiara in your trades soon. ;)
(Alas, no user correctly submitted every Hard puzzle, so I'll just be keeping that 8,000 gold over here with me. :ninja:)
While each puzzle had a set of official answers, additional finds were counted as long as you stayed within the given theme. Sorry guys, but a "bank" is not a flower and "cram" has nothing to do with nature during Spring. ;)
[SNG & NPC were purposely difficult, so those words were more like bonuses. To make up for it, "pink" and "neenja" were separated to count as two different words while several coincidental words were made by the generator. Anything to do with the website counted.]
Day Two: Boggle!
In order to win a prize for this puzzle, you had to get 30% of the total words in my list with less than 10 incorrect answers. You guys came up with a lot of words that weren't on my solution page! Each additional word was checked and verified by my Merriam-Webster dictionary: if it was a legitimate English term, you got the point.
Ex. You might have come up with 250 words for the Easy puzzle, but if 11 of them were non-English or complete gibberish, you failed this puzzle. Not to mention that your list had to be alphabetized. ;)
SPOILERX
Easy
My original list had 171 words. You needed 57 words to get the prize.
Medium
My original list had 80 words. You needed 26 words to get the prize.
Hard
My original list had 138 words. You needed 46 words (at least 4 letters long!) to get the prize.
Day Three: Cryptograms!
Each solution is a famous quotation that references the Springtime.
SPOILERX
Easy
Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.
- Quoted from Virgil Kraft

Day Four: Word Morphs!
Any solution counted as long as all words were verifiable English terms and you stayed within the correct number of steps. This is just one solution.

Day Five: Polygons!
Similar to Boggle, you needed to list at least 30% of the possible words in order to win this puzzle. If you listed 5 non-English or gibberish words, then your entry was marked as wrong. All words had to be at least 4 letters long and alphabetized.
SPOILERX
Easy
My original list had 60 words. You needed 20 words to get the prize.
Aww! So that means if I hadn't been lazy and finished two more I would have won most puzzles done. XD Congratulations to everyone anyhow! <3 Thanks for the brain workout, Knerd!
Yay, thanks so much for hosting! I really enjoyed working on these puzzles (except Sudoku ). Although I'm wondering which Hard puzzle I got wrong... *needs to compare* :ninja:
Also knerd, would it be too much of me to ask you which puzzles I won, since i think i entered more then 11 puzzles in.
Would you be okay with me posting it here, or shall I pm you?
And all you guys who didn't know about zinnias are blowing my mind! Maybe it's just a New York thing, but these flowers are everywhere. They're a staple for flower gardens:
