That's why I didn't bother with them. I figured the contest was more for the new players so I didn't participate in it.

Oh well i don't mind because the new players aren't around and i've got plenty of items to go round. I'm quite annoyed actually because some of the people i referred are good friends of mine ... and well yeh. Only 1 person is like semi active & 1 other girl who isn't even a close friend just someone who happened to pass through BMC.

It seems hard to get people to stick around if they are still pretty active in other sites. Which I guess makes sense.

Yeh the thing is they are so negative the moment they step foot here.
They complain because they have to save their avi every time they wanna look at hair or eyes etc. Which i must admit is a pain in the ass. But, they only have to get past that too see what it's really like.

It just annoys me they down it straight away without giving it a good go first.

That would annoy me also. Yeah, it has it's kinks but it's still a relatively new site and honestly what site doesn't have it's problems or glitches? Hell, Gaia has a ton of them. Which is the site that is used to compare every other avatar site with.

I don't know what their problem is then. If I had my friend recommend something I would give it a try. I've done it before. Usually I give a site three months to see if I like it or not. By then I have a pretty good idea.

Sorry, to her they're like that. Oh well. It may be for the best then. If all they ever do is complain about it.

@Roachi: Yeah, that's true. Plus not all sites will appeal to all people. This site does take getting used to because it has more rules and if you're used to Gaia it may seem restrictive. But I love it.

I used to love copy machines as a kid. It was because I couldn't figure out how they were copying stuff. It seemed quite magical to me. XD I was such a silly kid.

LOL. Ours is quite nice. It has a scanner on it as well so I can scan documents into PDF form for filing with Courts. I could also print from my computer to the copier but I don't want to do that.
