My Nascar race is over, and my sister has left.
Now I have al the time in the world to chat.

Yup, the Nascar race was at Texas Motor Speedway this last weekend.
That's why I wasn't able to be online during the last few days of the event.

The race would have been better if I hadn't fallen on an uplifted sidewalk while I was walking from the Rv to the track. I got pretty scraped up and smashed my knee.

But it didn't stop me from getting to the race!
(The next day was a bit tough though).

Woah sucks that you scrapped your knee though. Maybe you did it because you were so excited about the race that you became a little careless?
Did you have a good view of the race or did you have to watch it on the megascreen?

We have really good season ticket seats... midway between the start/finish line and the pit exit, which gives us a really good view.

Well, there are always so many people around. I just didn't see the upheaval in the sidewalk. I stepped on it, and my ankle twisted sjdeways, and down I went!

My old bones can't take this kind of punishment....

I'm better when I'm walking. When I sit, then it stiffens up, and it's hard to move.

At least it's a bruise and not a scar, unless you do have a scar. I usually get scars when I scrap my knees which sucks. v___v
Ah that sucks, but sitting and then getting up does take a lot of knee movement.

They were both scraped, but not too badly. Luckily, I had blue jeans on, which really saved me from some major road rash.

I gouged my finger on something that I was carrying, and that's starting to heal, but it's a wonderful shade of purple now. Gee, I match my avie now!
