O I see, jeans would help reduce the impact a lot! That's good. My worst knee scars came from when I was 6 in elementary school and slipped while running in the rain. I was wearing pants, but I fell so hard that my knees were really nasty looking! D:

No, the finger gouge happened in the same fall.
I was a sorry sight! It has a bit more black in it than my outfit. Hard to bend the finger, but I can still type. To top it all off, this happened on Sunday, the 8th, and it was my BIRTHDAY! What a birthday present I had... (not) |

But at least you still went to the race~ The knee trip that I remember happened on the night of my eighth grade graduation.. at the graduation party, well, like two minutes right before the party started. XD; It was at a friend's grandmother's house, and there's this like, little half step thing before you enter the hall. I was expecting nothing of the sort, and it was carpeted, so it was really hard to tell. It was probably about two inches in height, but it bloodied my knees ( I was wearing a skirt and just about to change into pants DX ) and I wasn't in a very good mood the rest of the night because it just kept stinging. T^T |
The stinging is certainly distracting, and it sure can ruin your mood.
Luckily I had a race to watch! |

Luckily with typing it is easy to compensate for one finger. On the contrary if that finger you bruised is needed for you to write it is very difficult to write without using it too much. Woah pretty crazy then. 0_0 Happy Belated Birthday by the way!!! <3333 I now guess that watching the Nascar race was a birthday present for you. @Lura: It's horrid when falls ruin special days like graduations and birthdays. It sounds like one of those "if only I had" since you would think, "If only I had changed into pants earlier the fall wouldn't have been as bad." |

Except that I had to get into that hall to get to the bathroom to change, so I guess I wish I had changed right after we got out from the graduation ceremony. XD |

@Jean: I see, that's a fantastic attitude to have. You're right it could have been much worse. The fact that you were able to still watch the race outweighs the fall.

Although then you would have the whole of Mene bashing you .xD Just sort of pretend the shops don't exist and when you see people selling commons in the exchange never enter their shop!
