I think it was only the catholics who required that you give up something for Lent.

There are so many types of Christians, I only know a few of the largest types. I am Roman Catholic too.

I never heard of spelling Christian as Christen either.

I feel like I don't spend enough time on Mene daily for it to be actually giving up something. But I often fast from sunrise to sunset for Lent, so it's a little moot for me, haha.

Speaking of EI sets, I'm kinda sad I didn't manage to get one for my mule, and the exchange is full of buyers but no sellers. D:

@ Xiel : I already gave up part of my coffee habits before due to health as well, you know. ^^;; I used to drink at least two or three cups a day! But, I'm now hyperacidic, so I can't drink too much coffee. :x Then I stopped drinking every day and drank every other day or whatever. I crave it for its taste more than anything. xDD;; Coffee does nil for me if I want it to help me stay awake. xDD;; I guess my already cut-back from it will help with my fasting. ^^

Eh, the EI cost in hearts was way too steep this time. 20 to 40 would have been acceptable. 30 to 50 is way too much. </3 I didn't have time to post or play chance/firecrackers that much. =3

@Nae - I know it's food, but giving up your fav food for awhile ... i think i'd rather do that then give up mene. Because mene is basically a part of my day to day rounds lol. Whereas food, i can do without for awhile. But if i didn't have mene, i'd prob go insane from boredom LOL. Not saying that i CAN'T go without it, just i'd rather have mene then my fav food xD. Besides there are heaps of other good things to eat lol.

While tea is not bad for you, 4 cups is way too much, especially on an empty stomach. You shouldn't drink tea on an empty stomach. Tea is cooling and acidic, so it's bad to do that. :stare:

But im not allowed to eat food! I need something to curb the hunger lol.

Ah, actually, I've found from fasting that if you don't drink as well as eat, you don't feel hungry as easily. So maybe you should abstain from fluids too? =3
