Yeh so i finally plucked up the courage to ask about that comp haha. But apparently they're gonna make an announcement about it in a couple days about the winners etc. Sooo *fingers crossed*, but i doubt i won the big prize because people kinda joined and then some stayed a bit but you and strawberry are the only real active ones. I remember last year nearly drove all the seniors up the wall, myself included, but that's because of poor planning, or being the first in the family to go to a college/university (like with me). Our college counselor was awesome, though. Oh. and one word: SCHOLARSHIPS. |

O I see. Well I know exactly what programs in what universities I want so I don't feel like I will encounter problems. You are lucky you have great counselors though! The counselors in my school are so crappy and useless D< Ya scholarships.... I have applied to all the 'easy' ones I can already. Although the ones that give out a lot of money require you to do SOOO much!! Like one essay, plus 2-3 recommendations, plus filling out this 20 page form in detail :gonk: And I don't have much to say about myself in the first place... @Rylynne: Thaaaanks!!! Well that is how it works in my school too. My school sends out our marks to all the universities. My province has a site with all the universities and colleges and we just go to that site and fill out the application so we don't have to deal with several websites. |
@ Minnie : Oh, you only fill out the forms online? =O We have to do both online and with actual paper, so that the universities have both a hard copy and a soft copy of our applications~ 8DD;;
I'm glad mine is over though and that I'm already in the university of my choice. :> It's the best university in the country, and the only national university at that. =P So, I'm real lucky. :3 |
