Yeah... the smaller business always suffer first. :( But actually in our town, our local coffee shops are still going strong while Starbucks closed down.

Yeh, but starbucks as a whole is going down. I'll be surprised if they dont go bust in the next few years >.<

Yeah it was a mad jump... they have planning permission to turn it into flats... so they are just thinking of money money.

Hopefully. I had the choice of two jobs 2 years ago. I could have made the wrong choice. I dont think so though. Everyone got on so well.

Well, it was nice to see my aunt and uncle but it was also a sad trip. My uncle's health has been declining for some time since he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. He has been falling a lot, and last Thursday he fell flat on his face and really hurt himself. He has been in the ICU since then. So, we mainly went to lend our support to him and my aunt. I wish we lived close! It's about an 11 hour drive down to Arkansas from where we live in Illinois.
