Aww....but if you come to the UP, then you can go with us.
Today we did the Sault Ste. Marie locks, since it was raining down here, but looked good up there. We did the tour boat, and went through the locks twice! Coolness! |
It's a shame the locks didn't lock on you. :(
...Or however those things work. :ninja: |
Today we went to Mackinac Island, and went on a horsey carriage ride.
Waaayyy too many bikes on that island! What a zoo! |
You're a zoo. :sarcasm:
I miss you. :( YOU MUST TAKE A PICTURE (of anything) AND SHOW IT TO ME! ...A picture of a random hobo on the street will net you bonus points! |
When we pull into the next place tomorrow, I'll get the hubby to upload some pics.
I'll show them then. |
Yay, exciting! :squee:
When does this trip of yours end, anyway? August? |
where does jean call home??? i mean the one without the wheels hahaha
|
Narnia, Linn! Jeez, you should know this by now. :talk2hand:
|
*flicks a booger at facade*
|
I'm a Texas gal! Austin, actually.
Yup...we're going to be on the road until somewhere around the end of August. Now I've gotta figure out how to get some pics uploaded somehow.... |
You should be in PA by August 29th, aka my birthday.
I EXPECT TO SEE AN RV DRIVE BY AND THROW A PIE IN MY FACE! :illgetu: ...Preferably blueberry. ;) |
ah from texas huh? cool! i've been to houston twice and it's uh.... well.... kind of flat and dry ahaha
|
Like YO MAMA, Linn!? :illgetu:
|
I don't like blueberry...how about cherry? That should stain well....
I've uploaded a few pics to the picture journal in my profile. Check them out! (No pics of me...I'm too shy...) |
don't be talkin' 'bout my mama, son! :feesh:
|
OMG, ELVIS' LIVING ROOM! :insane:
I want it... Are those peacocks on the stained-glass window things? :O Ooh, and that carriage looks neat! :squee: |
those are some great elvis pics! i commented on them all... that is so neat jean... i hope i get to go there some day
|
Those were peacocks. So pretty too!
I would have shown a picture of Elvis's grave, but it just didn't seem appropriate somehow. I loved the carriage ride. Much better than trying to ride a bike around there! |
hehe i uh... took a picture of james dean grave when i was in his hometown in indiana.... people still bring flowers to it and there was 1000 paper cranes in a bunch there too... it was too pretty not to... but now that you mention it, it does seem a little.... morbid
|
Ooh, I wanna see James Dean's grave! :gonk:
We did a production of Rebel Without a Cause my sophomore year, and I was a gang member named Moose. I had a leather jacket, the pompadour hairstyle, and EVERYTHING! (My mom is, technically speaking, a beauty school dropout. She did my hair for all nights of the show!! My hair was long enough to do a true-to-heart pompadour, unlike the other guys. ) Anyway, yeah. Here in PA, we just have a bunch of old people buried. Ben Franklin, William Penn, blah blah blah... |
Oh yes, Facade...the old, BORING people!
|
facade, i think i might have picture of it online... not my facebook but my myspace... i know i know, no one uses that anymore hahaha
|
I didn't realize how easy it was to upload pics to your journal....
|
The pictures from Graceland of of the lakes are super cool, Jean! :)
|
YES, old BORING people, Jeanne! :talk2hand:
I'd much rather have Elvis buried here. :( Or Barbara Walters! ... No wait, she's still alive. |
