Don't you think peaches in bread sounds like a good idea?

I was watching Iron Chef America the other night.
The secret ingredient was Alton Brown's fruitcake.

it does, but it'd hardly be banana bread anymore then.

Do you know Alton Brown?

He's the Good Eats guy on Food Network.
He is also the host for Iron Chef America.

He evidently has a fruitcake recipe that he uses, and they used that fruitcake as the secret ingredient.

So all the dishes had to use the fruitcake.
It was surreal!

I do not watch that show.
I only watch the food network when at the dentist. it's an odd craze there. only of the dentists always watched that channel so eventually, the entire office always had food network on. it's torturous to watch food when getting your teeth cleaned....

My dentist hands you the remote, I usually watch home improvement shows, but i wish the darn drill thing was quieter, or that i could turn it up, there are subtitles though

I never bother to change the channel when I'm given the remote. it seems too short of a time to get comfortable with a tv. Only time I wanted to change the channel was when they were doing a BBQ/grill thing and this guy just chucked a giant slab of meat (like all the meat from the cow) onto a humongous grill....it was gross.

Have you ever seen them cook an entire pig before?
For some reason that seems more gross to me.

um, not seen the whole pig though. I can eat some bacon and pork sometimes.

I prefer my bacon in something (like my mom's broccoli salad) rather than by itself.

I love BLT's....
Something about bacon and tomato together is just magical.

that I will agree on. BLTs are great. I wonder if they shall have decent sandwiches today.

technically, i ate everything out of the taco, but not the taco itself because it was messy. the corn was really spicy too...

Well, pretty soon we're going to be eating just fast food stuff or things out of a can.
The kitchen is almost all packed up now.
