My doctor's got me on some kind of antibiotic, I think, and a prescription nasal spray. Hopefully this goes away before Saturday night.

The perscription stuff should work, I'd think.

I don't like playing games anymore....*sore loser* but I can't help it! I hard-core lose everything we play!

irl. my family played some cards and some board games and catch phrase.

My family always liked to play board games or card games.
My hubby's family never plays games.

My aunts like playing various board games at gatherings. c:

We also played a lot of Button poker.

We'd divvy up my Mom's button collection and use them as chips.

I never liked poker. we're a card family.

Poker IS cards, no matter what kind of poker you're playing.
My family usually likes board games. Monopoly, Cranium, Life, Sorry. The way we play, all of them tend to go on forever, but I especially like cranium because it tends to generate the most laughs and inside jokes.

when i think cards, the closest to a betting game that comes to mind is Spades. we played that, chicken foot, and some pick up game for dominoes tonight.

I don't remember ever liking that game. from what i remember, it's too complicated for my tiny brain.

Up north they play Whist a lot too...

um, my family used to play a lot of ERS and palace and peanut butter.

peanut butter is easy. its a group game that you have partners and try to get four of kind and then do a secret sign that only you and your partner will know and they have to guess you've gone out, but the other teams can call on you and guess your sign if it's too suspicious.

We used to play spoons.

I love that game! PB is just spoons with secret signs instead of spoons. we once played that with knives though. o.o

We'd get so crazy with it that we'd end up bending the spoons...

we've done that too and we have the rule to take off all rings and bracelets before we start. we bend cards, actually ripped on in half once. that might have been a different game though.
