I was following it at the start and offered advice as well as pixeled something, but I haven't looked in on it in a while.

Hey, I lost my own thread... how bad is that?

I'm so excited. The granite is going to be installed on Thursday morning!
Yay!

Hubby has installed our new oven and microwave.
Tomorrow the last of the cabinet doors and door pulls get installed.

It's actually starting to come together!

Kat Dakuu 03-06-2012 03:39 AM

happens to me all the time!

wow, sounds like you're almost done with everything!

Jeannesha 03-06-2012 05:56 PM

Well, once the granite is installed, then I can really work on finding the tiles for the backsplash and floor.

THEN I can decide on the wall colors.

Right now I'm thinking of a kind of greyish, tannish taupey color.
Something neutral.

Then I'll bring in some dark red accents with towels and stuff.
(The Wolf range has huge red knobs...

Those will be my pop of color in the room...

Kat Dakuu 03-12-2012 02:33 AM

red is a good color.

Jeannesha 03-13-2012 04:42 AM

I'm kinda upset right now.

I play this other game called Evony, and the alliance I'm in is breaking apart.

I'm trying to decide whether to just quit the game, or try to get into a different alliance. Actually, I rarely play the game anymore, so maybe I should just quit.

Kat Dakuu 03-13-2012 04:44 AM

wow. random.

Jeannesha 03-13-2012 04:50 AM

Well, maybe it's random, but it's what I was just feeling....

I just had to vent somewhere!

Kat Dakuu 03-13-2012 04:55 AM

lol. that's fine then.
other than that rant, how are you?

Jeannesha 03-13-2012 04:56 AM

lol...I'm doing fine.
How about you?

I think the only reason I'm upset, is that if I quit, then I lose the money that I spent on the game.

But I really am not enjoying playing it anymore, so I don't know why I continue.
I sign on every day, but I don't really do anything cuz it's not fun anymore.

I enjoy myself on here more, so I should just quit that and spend more time on here!

Kat Dakuu 03-13-2012 05:12 AM

if it's no fun, then its probably you best you stop wasting your time on it. time is even more important than money.

I'm pretty good. watching my spring break fly past me way too quick.

Jeannesha 03-14-2012 03:24 AM

Nice pastel-y colors, Kat! I like it!

I love this shirt I just bought at the newbie shop!
I love the touch of light green at the top!

Kat Dakuu 03-14-2012 03:26 AM

thanks!

I haven't been looking at the newbie shop. I probably should.

Jeannesha 03-15-2012 03:37 AM

They haven't got too many items there yet, but it looks really promising.
I think that over time they're going to get quite a few items in there!

Kat Dakuu 03-15-2012 03:43 AM

yeah, I see some interesting stuff in there.

Jeannesha 03-15-2012 02:00 PM

Beware the ides of March!

Kat Dakuu 03-15-2012 10:53 PM

O__o what is that? shakespear?

Jeannesha 03-16-2012 01:48 AM

That's right!

It's from Julius Ceasar.

Linnea 03-16-2012 02:15 AM

speaking of billy shakes... i'm actually just getting ready to watch me some david tennant as hamlet... tis my favorite billy shakes play!

just saying... kind of a coinkydink

Kat Dakuu 03-16-2012 02:53 AM

say what?

and I thought that was from Julius Caesar, but I also read a few other plays around the same time and wasn't sure.

Jeannesha 03-16-2012 03:33 PM

Man, I remember Shakespeare in high school.
If the teacher didn't tell us what was happening, I would NEVER have been able to figure it out!

Kat Dakuu 03-16-2012 07:31 PM

I liked going over it in class, but it was hard to read on my own. some of it anyway.

Jeannesha 03-16-2012 07:33 PM

I'm reading Anna Karenina now.

I finished War and Peace (by Tolstoy), and figured that since I've gotten used to his style of writing, I may as well read his other well known novel, Anna Karenina.

I remember reading it in college. It seems like it's easier to figure out what's going on now than it was then...

Kat Dakuu 03-16-2012 07:35 PM

hm, I'm still kinda reading 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami.

Jeannesha 03-16-2012 07:36 PM

Is he from Japan?

How hard is it to read the style of a Japanese writer?
