It almost felt like it as I was writing it.

CNN has lots of footage of it.

It's really close to the Texas Motor Speedway, where we're going to be in another week.

One year we spent time in the cement culvert up there because of tornadoes...

I'm so sick of politics!

I could care less about politics really. the memoir I'm reading has a lot in it.

I know...my mother inlaw has the Fox News on all the time...
She's so into elections and politics.

I won't let hubby talk politics with her... It's a bad subject. She gets so wound up.

Personally, I feel that anybody who WANTS to be president, should NOT be president! We should pick the president and congress via lottery. The losers have to serve...

but...then they wouldn't care to do a good job because they didn't want to be president. they'd do bad so they wouldn't get re-elected. Would they be worse than the people trying to be good, I don't know.

I'm not convinced that anybody really wants to do good...they just want the power...

See...I'm so jaded about politics. That's why it's best not to talk about it...

of course. there's no such thing as a truly selfless act, but acts can come off as selfless. I don't think that's necessarily bad though. human nature is as it is for a reason.

My hubby just told me that I bullied our neighbor into cutting down their Honeysuckle...

Now I feel bad.

I was just saying to her that the Honeysuckle was on her side of the fence, so if she didn't like it, she could cut it. (See, I thought maybe she thought it was ours...)

I always think of it as meaning something like a "mean" voice.
It's not generally a nice thing... kinda whiney.
