i did. I haven't painted in a long time. except for the mural and we started painting that yesterday. it feels good to hold a paint brush!

What kind of paint do you use?

I just did a base coat in acrylic, but i will use oil over it. I don't want to use that in my dorm though because I don't have a proper way to clean it up. oil really shouldn't go down the drain because of how much it clogs it up, so I'm going to wait till the end of the semester to finish it.

I imagine your brushes are expensive too...

some of them are. I have bought mostly cheap ones.

that's cool. my only really expensive brush is a large one for watercolor.

you should! even I haven't taken a class for watercolor.

I just have to find a place that's nearby, and where the class isn't at night.

I have night blindness, and I can't drive at night.

Nope. I think the closest one is over 2 miles away.
No way hubby would let me walk it at night.

hm, weird. I thought the bus stops were all over the place.

Austin insisted on making us a part of Austin, but they never extended the bus service to come down here...

Yup. Circle C used to be our own "town".
Then Austin annexed us. We tried to fight it...even hired lawyers, but it didn't work.

We're south and west of Sunset Valley...south of Oak Hill.

interesting. not that I know where those places are.

but that's the thing, i never was anywhere but St. Edwards.

You probably didn't have a TV then either...

nope. the only time I've had a tv was last semester because my roommate had one.
