Oh man....super slow now.
Bad access area I guess. |
are you in the middle of nowhere?
About 10 miles east of Columbus in I-10.
lovely. I don't actually remember the drive, so I have no idea where you are.
Columbus is where Hwy 71 joins I-10.
We'll be heading north on 71 at that point. |
she speaks gibberish to me.
lol...I would think you'd be used o the route to Austin.
but me and my family only drove it a few times and road names mean nothing to me.
They should make you navigate sometimes.
that's what the gps is for.
You can't totally trust those things...
Sometimes they lie to you. |
they work for me!
I've learned in the RV to be careful.
If they take you to a dead end you're in serious trouble. |
The first time I used my GPS it lied to me. But it did put me in the right area and the apartments it took me to belonged to the same people. XD
Ours doesn't recognize roads sometimes.
Is it updated? And they can't update ALL roads. It's quite impossible.
They don't know about construction either...
If you have the GPS that comes with that thing to connects to tell if there are delays due to traffic and whatnot they do!
Those are the really expensive ones...
You have to be connected to the internet all the time on them. |
but even if it doesn't tell you about construction, its still helpful.
No you don't. My dad as one. It has a thing in the wire that connects to the satellites. He just like never uses it. XD
sounds pretty nifty, ter.
There was a Magellan at Costco for $150 with lifetime free updates available.
I'm thinking we may get one for the cars. I'll still use our regular PC one that hooks up with Microsoft Streets and Trips for the RV...then I can plan out our trip, and it shows me that we're following the planned route. |
I have a Garmin with lifetime updates.
My dad used to use a PC one but he likes the little ones better now. :D |
I think my dad has a garmin too. but no lifetime updates.
