not sure. my dad has business dinners to attend all around my birthday so I guess my parents won't take me out to dinner and buy me a drink until the weekend. I don't care to make a big deal of it.

But it really is kinda a big deal....it's a real milestone.

For some reason I was excited also when I turned 35.
That seemed like a milestone for me for some reason.

lol...I thought being 35 would mean that people would start taking me seriously.
But when I was 35 I still looked like I was 20... *sigh*.

Now 35 is really YOUNG to me.

I think I look my age except when I wear my hair in twin braids or pigtails and put on funky accessories.

I looked a lot younger now, until I lost all this weight.
My face is looser now, and the wrinkles show up more.

We have to do it in pieces so that we can still use the kitchen.
So it's going pretty slowly.

Well, we are having our family here for Christmas.

So at least we have a real HARD deadline to have it done!

Tomorrow I get to see what the grout will look like.
We've tiled where the refrigerator and dishwasher go, and then we grout that area, so then in another day we can put them in place.

I wouldn't let him grout the eating area yet cuz I wanted to see what it would look like first. It's hard to tell from the package what color it's really going to be.
