*sniffle* didn't see commercials for the recent movie? The team in the movie is Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Thor. I don't think I missed anyone.

Jeannesha 09-26-2012 09:23 PM

OK...I don't see many commercials.
We usually fast forward through them.

I used to read Thor comics...but I don't remember Black Widow.

Kat Dakuu 09-26-2012 09:26 PM

but sometimes they're fun to watch!

She's a Russian assassin/spy. She work for SHIELD. she's all sorts of scary awesome, kill you with my pinky finger.

Jeannesha 09-26-2012 09:48 PM

So she's a bad guy then...

lol...

I just can't keep up with all this stuff...

The Batman movies don't even have a Robin in them anymore, do they?

Kat Dakuu 09-26-2012 09:58 PM

no! she's on Avenger's team!!

no, are there any batman movies with Robin? I used to watch the animated cartoon with him. He's in Teen Titans...

Jeannesha 09-26-2012 09:58 PM

I was thinking that there may have been 1 movie that had Robin in it...
But I could be wrong.

Kat Dakuu 09-26-2012 09:59 PM

not one I've seen. there are a lot of batman movies though. I haven't seen much of what was made before my time.

Jeannesha 09-26-2012 09:59 PM

When is before your time?

lol...

Kat Dakuu 09-26-2012 10:02 PM

I was born in '91, so...

Jeannesha 09-26-2012 10:03 PM

Let's see...we moved to Texas in 89...

Kat Dakuu 09-26-2012 10:05 PM

lol. I feel young all of a sudden.

Connielass 09-27-2012 12:06 AM

You ARE young.

The first live-action Batman movie in the US to feature Robin as sidekick was 1966. That one had Adam West as Batman, and Burt Ward as Robin.
The second one was made in 1997, and had a star-studded cast, starring George Clooney as Batman and Chris O'Donnell as Robin, and co-starring Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, and Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl.
MAN O'Donnell was a lot younger then!

Kat Dakuu 09-27-2012 01:15 AM

I feel I should know that one since Schwarzenegger was in it.

Connielass 09-27-2012 01:22 AM

I remember it... I was more fascinated by Poison Ivy, and even then, Batgirl irritated me.

Kat Dakuu 09-27-2012 01:27 AM

but I don't really like batman, so yeah. I don't know the characters in that universe at all.

Connielass 09-27-2012 01:42 AM

I think I know the most about Batman out of all the Justice League heroes.

Kat Dakuu 09-27-2012 01:45 AM

I didn't even know he was in justice league. I generally don't like superheros though.

Connielass 09-27-2012 01:50 AM

Justice League is made up the Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, etc.

Kat Dakuu 09-27-2012 01:59 AM

yeah, not interesting to me. I never liked superman or wonder woman really.

Jeannesha 09-27-2012 02:01 AM

Strange. I typed this but I don't see it in the thread...

I had said that Adam West and Burt Ward were in a Batman TV series.
I don't know if they ever made a movie, but it was definitely in a campy TV series in the 60's. I remember watching it.

Kat Dakuu 09-27-2012 02:05 AM

sounds lovely.

Jeannesha 09-27-2012 02:06 AM

Superman was too strong...there was no room for problems there.

Maybe that's why I always liked Spiderman best.

Connielass 09-27-2012 02:14 AM

Jean, wasn't that where they "Holy ____, Batman!" came from?

Jeannesha 09-27-2012 02:15 AM

Yup!

Like I said, it was really campy

(*BAM* *POW*)
That showed up on the screen everytime there was a fight...

Connielass 09-27-2012 02:17 AM

HA! I remember that.
Same thing happened on Thundercats.
