*sniffle* didn't see commercials for the recent movie? The team in the movie is Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Thor. I don't think I missed anyone.
|
OK...I don't see many commercials.
We usually fast forward through them. I used to read Thor comics...but I don't remember Black Widow. |
but sometimes they're fun to watch!
She's a Russian assassin/spy. She work for SHIELD. she's all sorts of scary awesome, kill you with my pinky finger. |
So she's a bad guy then...
lol... I just can't keep up with all this stuff... The Batman movies don't even have a Robin in them anymore, do they? |
no! she's on Avenger's team!!
no, are there any batman movies with Robin? I used to watch the animated cartoon with him. He's in Teen Titans... |
I was thinking that there may have been 1 movie that had Robin in it...
But I could be wrong. |
not one I've seen. there are a lot of batman movies though. I haven't seen much of what was made before my time.
|
When is before your time?
lol... |
I was born in '91, so...
|
Let's see...we moved to Texas in 89...
|
lol. I feel young all of a sudden.
|
You ARE young.
The first live-action Batman movie in the US to feature Robin as sidekick was 1966. That one had Adam West as Batman, and Burt Ward as Robin. The second one was made in 1997, and had a star-studded cast, starring George Clooney as Batman and Chris O'Donnell as Robin, and co-starring Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, and Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl. MAN O'Donnell was a lot younger then! |
I feel I should know that one since Schwarzenegger was in it.
|
I remember it... I was more fascinated by Poison Ivy, and even then, Batgirl irritated me.
|
but I don't really like batman, so yeah. I don't know the characters in that universe at all.
|
I think I know the most about Batman out of all the Justice League heroes.
|
I didn't even know he was in justice league. I generally don't like superheros though.
|
Justice League is made up the Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, etc.
|
yeah, not interesting to me. I never liked superman or wonder woman really.
|
Strange. I typed this but I don't see it in the thread...
I had said that Adam West and Burt Ward were in a Batman TV series. I don't know if they ever made a movie, but it was definitely in a campy TV series in the 60's. I remember watching it. |
sounds lovely.
|
Superman was too strong...there was no room for problems there.
Maybe that's why I always liked Spiderman best. |
Jean, wasn't that where they "Holy ____, Batman!" came from?
|
Yup!
Like I said, it was really campy (*BAM* *POW*) That showed up on the screen everytime there was a fight... |
HA! I remember that.
Same thing happened on Thundercats. |
