Those flying monkeys scared the crap out of me though...

I didn't watch Wizard of Oz til I was around 11, so they never scared me.

I'm trying to think how old I was when I first saw it...

I don't know how old I was, but I thought the talking trees were scarier than the monkeys.

I think I saw it when they first showed it on TV.
I must have been around 4 or 5...

I know I saw it on tv. I think I must have been somewhere between 5-10. I have no idea. I don't really remember it at all.

It says on wiki that in 56 they started showing it every year on TV.

You know, I don't think I recall seeing it on lately.
But then, I probably know the entire thing by heart anyway...

I don't go searching for it. I stick to crime drama channels so I don't run into it much.

Even back in the 70's, I had a TV in college!

I don't want one if I just get basic cable. it's almost all in spanish here. I could have my brother's tv if I wanted, but I didn't and there wouldn't be room in the car to bring it anyway.
