I watched it when it first came out.
Have they done any new ones?

there's a series called Blue Planet now.
but I'm sure there's a part in the show where it shows the rain clouds zooming in out of nowhere in a desert and raining massively, then going away like it was nothing.

We are a rather magnificent planet.
I'm wondering if they're going to find any water planets like ours out there.

I think they have, but it's no where near.

Well, most of them are too hot or too cold.
They haven't found any that are "just right" yet...

I get Astronomy magazine, and they're always talking about the latest things that the large telescopes have found.

They have GREAT pictures of galaxies, nebulas, etc...

Most of the "stars" that we see in the sky are actually galaxies...

I know right? space might really be infinite!

Well, they haven't found the "edge" yet.

Actually, as they look further out, they're really just seeing further back in time...

therefore, it doesn't exist.

time portals! isn't that so neat?

It's not reallly a time portal per se.

It's just that those stars are so far away that it has taken years and years and eons for the light to get to us...So what they see is what really took place all those eons ago!

but it kinda is. we're looking into the past.

I was just thinking that the term "Portal" meant a gateway that you go through, and we can't really travel back there...we can just SEE back then.

it might be a gateway. just because we haven't gone through it yet, doesn't mean one day we can't.
