I've been so bored lately....

I finally got my car back so I can go out...so I've just been kind of wandering around the stores.

I did go get my eyes checked today. They're all dilated now. Weird.

I've been bored too. my teachers stopped flooding me with homework, but then I suddenly had nothing to do without people online.

I hate getting my eyes dilated. I need my glasses frames fixed though because they're crooked.

I tried to pick out new frames...so I asked the gal to find me something funky-looking. She found some that have a filigree design on the sides.
They're really kinda cool. But they didn't have the color I would have wanted, so she's ordering them so I can see them before I buy them.

just have the be weird huh? I don't get a lot of choice in frames because my face is so small that I have to buy tiny ones sometimes even from the kids selection. mine right now are dark blue, nearly black, and quite thin.

I prefer a maroon or dark brown look.
I used to use bronze quite a bit.

I haven't heard from them today though, so I guess I'm going to have to wait.

I hate waiting.

Well, I finally took a walk this morning.
I figured that I need to get back into walking before we hit Texas Motor Speedway.
That's coming up soon. We're leaving for Forth Worth on Halloween day.
That way we won't have the RV sitting outside the house Halloween night.

waiting is always the worst.

but halloween is the best! candy and costumes for all!!!

So, the other night the inside of my foot was numb.
Such a strange feeling. It felt like the foot was really swollen, but it wasn't.

I go to the doctor today. I called her yesterday, and she said it sounded like a pinched nerve in my foot.

When I sit for awhile and then get up, it feels like I'm walking on a lump of wood.
Such bizarre-ness.

It sucks to get old.

So I'm just sitting around waiting until it's time to go see her.

No magazines in her waiting room either, so I don't want to get there too quickly.

I hate just sitting around, twiddling my fingers....lol...

bring your own magazines then!

Yeah, I always carry a few magazines in my purse just for that purpose.
If I'm sitting alone eating lunch somewhere, I'll always have something to read.

I'm always reading.
As a kid, we used to read the cereal boxes while eating cereal...

I haven't done much reading lately outside of school. ah, so much to do though!

Well, it's time for me to head to my doctor office now...

She thinks it's possibly a Morton's Neuroma...a tumor thingie between your 3rd and 4th toes.

Non cancerous, thank God.

But basically the way you get rid of it is to wait for it to go away.
lol...

Morton's isn't so much a tumor, really, just a swelling of the major nerve that runs right between the toes. It commonly happens when that nerve gets compressed/pinched continually. Just be careful how you walk, Jean, cause Morton's can get painful if continually and constantly pinched.
Or did your doctor maybe suggest a change in choice of footwear?

It's strange about the footwear.

I mostly wear cushy flip flops, or really nice cushioned shoes.
I hate pinched toes, so my shoes tend to be nice and roomy and wide.

In fact, when I wear my current flip flops, I can't tell that I have much of a problem. I just feel the numbness when I walk barefoot.

She also took lots of blood tests, so we're checking other things out too.
If I still have it in a week, I go to the podiatrist.

Do you like the black hair or the white hair better?
