You must have a touch of insomnia.... I usually can't make it much past midnight.

Yup... we're heading home. Going to make a stop for a couple of weeks at my step-son's place though.

We don't quite know what to do with ourselves. We had thought we'd be in Fargo until October...but Mom's cancer spread faster than they thought... so here we are, at loose ends.

Rylynne 07-20-2009 04:33 PM

High school forced me to stay up REAL late because we were almost always overloaded with a TON of projects. :x Especially when it neared the end of the school year, and all your subjects would be shoving last-minute stuff for you to do aside from the bigger projects that were already due. x_x;; It was not a nice time at ALL, but it definitely helped build my stamina for long-term working and working through the late hours, I guess. ^^;;

And aww, that's nice then. :3 Have you seen him recently? =O
And hmm... I don't know where Fargo is or what you can do there, but I do hope that you find something to do, if ever you decide to stay a little longer. <3

Jeannesha 07-20-2009 04:37 PM

My step-son's place is in Minnesota. I haven't been there for awhile, so it should be fun. I've got a couple of grandkids there to play with. One is brand new... I haven't seen him yet, so I'm excited.

So are you in college now? What subjects are you taking?

Rylynne 07-20-2009 04:47 PM

Oohh, that sounds exciting! :'D <3<3
I bet your new grandchild must be adorable then! =P

And yes, I'm in my second year of college taking up BA Journalism. :3
I have a journalism subject, two communication subjects, a political science one specializing in Philippine government, and an environmental science one. ^^;; So, those take up a lot of time, as at least half of those subjects require lots of papers. :x </3

Jeannesha 07-20-2009 05:21 PM

Writing always comes hard to me.

I much prefer working out a bunch of math problems, or writing a computer program. I haven't got the best imagination for papers... unless it was just copying something from the encyclopedia (there was no internet when I went to college).

Rosebleed 07-20-2009 06:28 PM

*Fluffles* I'm sorry I never visit your thread! How are you doing? *Adds to subscriptions* XD

Jeannesha 07-20-2009 06:37 PM

Hi Rose!

< happy dance >

Yay....come in, sit down. Want a coke? How about a margarita?
Hmmm.... I think I've got some cookies around here somewhere...

< clears the books off the couch >

There! Now we're all nice and cozy...
I'm fine...just a touch of lumbago..umm... never mind.

How are you?

Rylynne 07-21-2009 03:50 PM

Really, Jean? =O I love writing papers! :3 Words come naturally to me. ^^;; What I hate about papers is the amount of research you need for them though. >.>;; It's the research that slows me down. D: Sometimes I just wish that I knew everything about my topic already so that I can go straight to writing and finish a hell of a lot faster. xDD;;

Math problems are fine with me too though. ^^;; I'm probably above average or so at Math, even though it isn't what I'm interested in. xDD;; Science is something that doesn't chime as well with me though. >.>;;

Jeannesha 07-21-2009 04:25 PM

It's a good thing that everybody's different.
It wouldn't be as much fun if everybody liked the same things...

Rylynne 07-21-2009 04:35 PM

That's true~ =P <3<3
Differences are what make people interesting, after all~ xDD;; <3<3

Jeannesha 07-21-2009 04:49 PM

I've always loved math. There's something so cool about solving an equation...

I love to work the Killer Sudoku, KenKen, and Kakuro puzzles.
They all require some math...much harder than regular sudoku puzzles.

Rylynne 07-21-2009 04:52 PM

I've never heard of Killer Sudoku. =O Is there a big difference between that and the regular one? o_O;;
I love Sudoku though! xDD;; <3<3
I've solved all the Sudoku puzzles on my phone though (on all levels, lolz xDD), on my brother's DS, and on my laptop. 8DD;; So, I haven't played in a while, but I still do when I get to encounter a new one if ever. ^^;; <3<3

Jeannesha 07-21-2009 05:36 PM

You can check it out at:
www.killersudoku.com (I think that's the link)

In addition to the regular sudoku rules, there are dotted lines around groups of cells, with a number on it. The digits in those cells have to add up to the number, and you can only use each digit once in that group.
(i.e... 7=1,2,4. You can't use 1,3,3)

Once you see the page, you can figure it out. It's more challenging than sudoku, so it's more fun to me...

Rylynne 07-22-2009 01:14 PM

Oohh, I see. =O Cool. :3 I'll check it out when I have more time on my hands then~ ^^
Thankies for the link! :'D <3<3

Jeannesha 07-22-2009 04:22 PM

Then there's something new that I've seen called KenKen.
It also has groups of numbers, with an arithmetic sign (+-x and the divide sign, which my keyboard doesn's seem to have).

In KenKen, Sudoku rules apply to the rows and columns, but NOT to the group of cells. (i.e... 7+ means the group adds up to 7, and you could use 133, as long as the 3's aren't in the same row or column).

I've just started doing some KenKen, but simple ones...with 6 rows and columns.

Rosebleed 07-23-2009 06:11 AM

Ohh ~ I used to luff Sudoku. I haven't played it for a long time though... Maybe I'll get a puzzle book on the way to work.. Hmmm... *Scratches head*

And yeah, EXACTLY my point. >.>;; </3
They won't listen to reason though. :x

They drove my brothers car over to him in Nebraska and then took a plane home. They just got back late Monday night. About 10 or 11.
And I should ask them, but I always forget. Plus, most of my friends dont really own that many movies. :/

Thats lame
But it isn't your fault? :(
You should "twist your ankle" and not be able to perform :twisted:

Hmm... I think the Pudao of Time would also suit my current outfit, now that I think about it. xDD;;
But since I have to log off now, I think I shall try it on another time. ^^;;

Haha. Did you ever end up trying it on?

@ Misery - I'm sorry, but you're not aloud to do that here.
You've just spammed twice over, and broken two rules that we have here. Could you please read up on the rules, and i'll report your posts for you.

First off, just to let you know so you dont get in trouble, you're not supposed to double post here (which is posting twice in a row in the same thread). Also, your posts shouldn't be one word, just a smiley, or words that make no sense. We prefer to keep conversations going here, and want posts to contribute to the conversations going on. Also, no bumping.

Thanks, and please try to keep the rules in mind. :)

Ummm... Suona, who are you talking to?
Is Misery your imaginary friend? :)

Rose, I love puzzle books, but they're so expensive these days.
The Killer Sudoku website at least lets you print off their puzzles, which is really cool.

Suona 07-23-2009 08:38 PM

@ Jean - lol No
There was a new person that had posted here, and I said that to her, but they must have read my reports and deleted both her posts and merged my posts together.

Jeannesha 07-23-2009 09:04 PM

How funny!

Must have been a Gaia newbie... the ones that Jelly was talking about.

We're supposed to be nice to them. Even though I couldn't see what she had done, I thought that you were very polite in what you said.... telling her what she had done wrong...

Suona 07-23-2009 09:42 PM

I'm pretty sure it was
She started a thread also, and posted about 7 times in a row, and they were all "aghashk" kind of posts.
I was really annoyed, to say in the least.
And I probably wouldn't have been so kind if we hadn't just been warned by Jelly

Jeannesha 07-23-2009 09:47 PM

Well, it's probably a Gaia person all right.
I was just over on Solia, and there was a person who was doing that over there too... I think that somebody on Gaia must have said "Let's wreak havoc on other sites".

Suona 07-23-2009 10:31 PM

Yeah, i'm betting she is from Gaia, too
She didn't seem to have much respect for threads. >_>
I try not to ever mention Menewsha if I am on Gaia. I dont want them coming over here.

Jeannesha 07-23-2009 10:36 PM

Me either...actually, I don't talk much on Gaia at all.

The folks there don't seem to be very friendly...

Suona 07-23-2009 10:44 PM

I rarely go on there ever anymore
And yeah, I was never all that fond of most of the people there
Sure, there are certainly a lot fo people that are good that are there, but there are more that aren't.
