I was just surprised that you asked if people are still using satellite TV.
Nobody has those huge dishes anymore, but DISHnet and DirecTV are both very huge and used by LOTS of people.

Really...I wasn't joking... They're bigger companies than the cable companies were...I think they have more customers.

Not in my area. The cable companies are the huge players here. Not a whole lot of people are fans of the dishes. They really have proved very unreliable and sensitive to most shifts in weather and temperature.

Yeah. Comcast and Fios are the big ones here.

Personally, I prefer Comcast for the TV.
But for internet, Fios really is faster.
I don't think there's much difference in quality of phone service, but I'm sure my mom is seeing a difference in her wallet.

I've never heard of Fios, but my parents use Comcast.

Most people have Comcast here.
My dad has satellite though and it will go out if a bad storm hits whereas cable does not. Also, the picture isn't as clear as it is on cable.

I did productive stuff today...because I went to work...then I went to campus and finished a project.
