those are carmel delights or samoas, jean. I really like them too.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 06:59 PM

They are very yummy

Kat Dakuu 11-12-2012 07:03 PM

but I think all the cookies are at least slightly yummy.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:04 PM

Yes true, i haven't had them in over 10 years...

Kat Dakuu 11-12-2012 07:09 PM

hasn't been that long for me. there's still a few boxes in my mom's freezer.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:12 PM

Oh you freeze boxes?, for how long?

Kat Dakuu 11-12-2012 07:14 PM

for however long it takes to start eating them. we had some from a couple years back when they had different cookies.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:17 PM

Really? i didn't know they could last that long without getting freezer burn on them.

Kat Dakuu 11-12-2012 07:26 PM

yeah? my time estimates might be off, but I've never seen a cookie with freezer burn on it.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:27 PM

REally, fascinating, are they deep freezed or in just a normal freezer?

Kat Dakuu 11-12-2012 07:28 PM

I never even heard the phrase deep freezed before.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:32 PM

xD well in chest freezers if you put stuff in the very bottom it gets alot colder and freezes faster.... so it's deep freezed >.>'

or maybe i am going crazy xD

Anyways... how are you today?

Queen_Andais 11-12-2012 07:43 PM

Dessert, it could also be referred to as flash freezing. But as long as the food is sealed correctly, frozen things stay good for a long while.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:48 PM

Yes, i didn't know the term for it xD i am so bad at typing/finding the right words xD

Queen_Andais 11-12-2012 07:55 PM

Deep freeze is also correct. I just know my older sister the chef calls it flash freezing.

You don't veterans day off?

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 07:56 PM

Nope, i work in a factory i get the day after thanksgiving off though...

Queen_Andais 11-12-2012 08:01 PM

At least they give you that day. @[email protected] what about christmas and thanksgiving day?

Connielass 11-12-2012 08:03 PM

Christmas, most places are closed. Tday.... a lot of places will be open at least half the day.
I'm lucky I don't have to work that day, but Black Friday is mandatory.

Ugh.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 08:06 PM

They give me thanks giving day, and three days off for christmas... but i don't care i probably will either get laid off for christmas or quit so i can see the boyfriend

---------- Post added 11-12-2012 at 03:07 PM ----------

Connie do you work retail?

Queen_Andais 11-12-2012 08:22 PM

I don' miss working in the mall. Holidays were hell

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 08:24 PM

I could only imagine xD

Queen_Andais 11-12-2012 08:33 PM

I worked in a high end luggage store that carried unique and expensive items, so you can imagine the snotty rude customers we would get. I loved doing the gift wrapping. We offered it free to our customers. The luggage was my favorite to wrap. Big ass bows!

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 08:36 PM

Oh boy, I have never done big wrapped stuff.... >.>' i want to someday...

Queen_Andais 11-12-2012 08:46 PM

Lots of fun things to do with big boxes. We got creative with the ribbons and shredding them. I love wrapping presents period.

dessertdesiert 11-12-2012 08:50 PM

xD me too.... i wrapped all of my family's presents for my stepdad this weekend...
