It's pretty overcast here too...
But I don't think it's supposed to rain.

Now I have to figure out what to cook for myself for dinner.
With hubby out of commission, I have to do for myself!

Why is Hubby out of commission?

He's got the flu, poor baby.
Hacking his lungs out right now...

But I went and got him some cough medicine, so hopefully that will work.

I think i am kinda baby when i get sick...

I am the farthest thing from a baby when I'm sick.

strong and stubborn. I don't tell anyone or show it on my face. I don't do anything different and I usually don't take meds, but it's fine since in the last five years, I haven't gotten more than a hint of a cold every now and then.

I feel like i constantly get sick....

i used to get sick more, but I don't live in that close proximity with other people anymore.

Hubby does whine a bit, but he also refuses to go to the doctor.
He did ask me to go to the store and get him some rat poison...lol...
So I think he really is feeling miserable.

I think my cold is going away but the soreness in my throat and the sensitivity in my ears is not fun at all...

He is coughing like crazy, so his throat is "hamburger" as he puts it.
General aching, headache, no appetite. Chills, probably a fever.

But he was MUCH better today!
He even ate some scrambled eggs.

Last night I hadn't heard him coughing...so when I went to bed I leaned really close to him to see if he was still breathing! He was totally asleep. Finally.
I think that's one of the main reasons he felt so much better today. He finally got a good night's sleep.

He sounds like me.... yesterday I was coughing up all this icky stuff that i didn't even want to be close to a computer cause i was making such a mess on myself...
Now I think it's all in my sinuses :(

I was thinking that his sense of humor being like my hubby's is because they were from the same generation.
