Well, maybeso...but it won't kill you once in awhile.

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:08 AM

I guess. but it literally might if you eat it everyday!!

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:09 AM

Well, I wouldn't even WANT to eat it every day...

In fact, I just wanted it as an alternative to McDonalds once in awhile...

...not that I eat THERE every day either.

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:10 AM

I haven't been to mc donald's since...third grade or something. no sorry, I sometimes eat breakfast there on the road with my dad or get a drink. I haven't had lunch there pretty much ever though. I go and eat taco bell with wingsy sometimes because it's right outside my neighborhood.

Connielass 02-20-2013 06:10 AM

Oh there's no doubt about that. That's why I only allow myself a soft taco maybe once a month, if that. Though to be honest, I haven't gone back to Taco Bell since I finished school last January. That and someone opened up a Mexican restaurant nearby.. the owners are actual Mexican immigrants, so getting the real deal is MUCH better.

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:11 AM

I actually like Tex-Mex better than the real Mexican food...

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:17 AM

why would the real deal be better. it will turn less authentic quick enough anyway.
I like my tex-mex and new-mex too. the seafood variety of mexican is good too. that's another group itself and sometimes you see it with it's flair of tex-mex. but I've had authentic salsa made by a friend's mom. good stuff.

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:18 AM

My step daughter makes killer fish tacos.

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:21 AM

normally I hate fish, but I love my mom's fish tacos!

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:22 AM

Does she put cabbage in them?

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:23 AM

yep! usually we make pico de gallo too.

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:24 AM

I love a good pico de gallo!

Connielass 02-20-2013 06:26 AM

The pico de gallo I've had was WAY too spicy to eat. I've not ordered it since.

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:27 AM

it can be spicy, but usually it's just tasty! I don't mind it even if it's too spicy though. it's great with eggs and salsa and cheese! *skipped from dinner to breakfast*

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:28 AM

I've had some that wasn't too spicy.
It's mostly the red onions in it that are the strongest.

Do they have jalapenos in it too?

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:30 AM

I thought it was the cilantro that make it spicy? My mom puts jalapenos in it. Usually I hate jalapenos, but in pico de gallo it's good. it's really bad when there's too much of it though.

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:30 AM

I don't think cilantro is spicy.
But it definitely makes pico de gallo taste the way it does!

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:31 AM

ah. it sure is great though. I have a tendency to pick out the tomatoes from it though and just eat those. if it's too spicy or I'm full, I'll just eat the tomato because I really love them.

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 06:33 AM

You'd love chicken cattatorie.
It's got big hunks of stewed tomatoes in it.

Really tasty. We had it today for dinner.

I'm hitting the sack now.
Good night!

The Kit-Kat Project 02-20-2013 06:35 AM

I do like it mostly. but I prefer my tomato fresh or sometimes sundried. stewed anything and me have issues though.

lucky. I ate a small tv dinner/lunch box thing. I ate my lunch at almost 3pm too.

Connielass 02-20-2013 06:44 AM

Cilantro is, I think, not considered a spice. I know it's an herb, but the seeds that produce cilantro are spicy.

Cummin? Or something..

Kat Dakuu 02-20-2013 06:49 AM

I don't know. I just know what it looks like at the store.

wait...I'm lost now. are you talking about the seeds or something?

Connielass 02-20-2013 07:08 AM

Yeah. The seeds are called by a different name, because they're considered a spice.

Kat Dakuu 02-20-2013 07:11 AM

that's too weird for me. I don't care about foods unless I'm eating it and I don't think I'm just eating cummin or whatever.

Jeannesha 02-20-2013 08:11 PM

Cummin comes from cilantro?

I've got to find that out for sure. Hubby HATES cilantro, but he LOVES cummin.

I'm the other way around.
