Our student art show is juried.

But that is the only art show around here that I know of that is juried....although I think Art in the Park is juried? But it is like a arts and crafts show where you sell things.

I was given two websites to look at. I'm going to do illustrators of the future contest and I have permission to send in a short story to a magazine for this assignment. that drawing with the fox and the druid, that's the illustration I'm working on for it.

So, what exactly does juried mean?

it means you can't all get in. there are like judges that pick art from all the entries that they will end up displaying. it's like a contest.

Juried means that the pieces are juried and awarded? Does that explain? *obviously doesn't know how to explain juried*

They pretty much are. I did entry that mustache contest on deviantART. I didn't win...but the one hosting it did fave it. XD But she also faved everyones'

Yes....it does...well...she didn't fave everyone's because there were a LOT of entries that were disqualified.

If you have to enter 2 juried shows, can you enter the same picture in them?

I doubt it jean. if it got into both shows at the same time, you couldn't have it displayed in both. besides, I said I was doing one writing and one art.

lol, I finally bought my web hosting. I just made up the craziest password to. there's no way I'll remember it, but I wanted a strong password.

You know...I think I totally typed something else at the beginning of that post...because "does really" is not making any sense to me. XD

You'd better write the password down somewhere...

Or at least write down your hints to it so you can remember it later.

I'll write a hint. that's a good idea. you're not supposed to write down your passwords, though with me, you'd never find it in all the paper I own!

I never write the actual password down...just obscure hints so that only I can figure it out.

I don't know? But if you have noticed, a LOT of people submit stuff into the contest that have NOTHING to do with the contest. :/
