Kind of a gloomy day here. I'm just washing clothes. That's all I've got planned for the day. |
I haven't gotten out of bed yet. I can hear the wind howling outside and I don't wanna move. I stayed up really late last night.

It actually turned into a nice day.
The sun is out. At least it wasn't too cool. I took a long walk this afternoon. lol...hubby was making his enchilada sauce, and wasn't holding the top tight enough on the blender. We now have enchilada sauce all over everything! |
it's as windy as during a hurricane outside. yeah, a dry hurricane. I wouldn't call it a good day. I didn't even even open my blinds all the way because the cold air was getting in more than the sun.

Fortunately, I wasn't here at the computer.
I had closed the top on it for some reason, and was out in the living room. I ended up with sauce all over the top of the computer. Easy enough to wipe off though. |

We went rug shopping and watched snow fall. I hope the rugs I want to get aren't over $700. We need two for the living room. The girl is supposed to call me on monday and let me know how much it will cost, she couldn't call the supplier today because they were closed.

Have you ever seen a rag rug? My aunt made my mom one and now, I want to learn how to make it. It's way cool. Looks easy, but pretty sure I could screw it up. [yes]

I believe they were initially rags braided into a rug, probably clothes could no longer be repaired or worn. My aunt gets all one kind of material and braids into a rug.

Contemplating finishing a blanket that I had started for my little brother and then clean the bathroom. Really need to clean the bathroom.

My toilet and the bath tub are in need of a good scrubbing and instead, I went to get frozen yogurt from a self serve down the way from our house. Place called Yummiville. Had some great choices for flavors, but they only had one size container.
