Pepsi is a cola. Coke is a cola. But they are not the same company.
Coca-Cola was founded in 1891 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Pepsi-Cola was founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Purchase, NY. And while I was looking that up, I looked up Dr. Pepper. They were founded in 2008 and are headquartered in Plano, Texas. Snapple is also a part of them. And Dr. Pepper came from Britain's Cadbury Schweppes I suppose. Hard to find info on that. |
but there's still a company called pepsi-cola. company may not be the right word. It exists though.

You used cola instead of coke, Kat. It's Pepsi-cola and Coca-cola. They are two different companies. Generally people don't use the "cola". It's either Pepsi or Coke. |
What Jean said. Pepsi is Pepsi cola. It's completely separate from the Coca cola company.

Connie, Dr. Pepper has been a subsidiary of a few different companies. I think they are with Coke now, or was that a few years ago or, they might be aligned with RC Cola...it gets down right confusing with them. Dr. Pepper is my favorite! Weaned myself to one soda a week.

Myself, I like Pepsi over Coke. But mostly I'm an orange soda gal. Fanta, Crush, Sunkist.. though I like Sunkist best. Or ginger ale. |
Had Squirt for the first time in a long time last week when we had a potluck...didn't realize they still made that soda. It was one of those times it just hit the spot.

I don't like soda at all. Only ones I will drink are fruity. I guess I like orange soda the best...although I had orange flavored things.
