We pull out a gift for everyone and open all at once then repeat.
We nod do a Chinese gift exchange type thing with the extended family.

We have always passed out all the gifts then oldest to youngest open one at a time.

It would take so much longer to do that.

Taking longer to open presents is the whole point, Kat!

In my family we also opened one at a time.
Usually they'd find a gift for each person, and the others would hold theirs while the next person opened his/hers.

Sometimes we were still opening gifts in the middle of the afternoon.
We'd get up in the morning, get breakfast and our cups of tea.
Then we'd gather around the tree and start opening presents.

Around noon we'd stop for lunch and probably get dressed, then continue.

We never even start until noon at the earliest. It'll be at least five before we open ours today and it already takes hours as we do it.

Kat I bought myself commons with the stamps. And I'm still going to have a ton to rollover.

Yeah? How much stuff did you get? I need to buy a lot more.

Hubby and I were going to watch The Nutcracker with Barishnycov (sp), but we can't get our VCR to work, and we only have it on VHS.

Dang.

That socks but I'm not surprised. Ours stopped working years ago.

We have all these VHS tapes that are now worthless.

Hopefully not too long but I don't use data much anyway.

Yeah. My iphone is set up to automatically connect to the wifi here at home.
But once I turned it off to check something else, and forgot to turn it back on.

But I have unlimited data, so it didn't really matter.

Mine should automatically connect to home but I noticed it didn't do that when I got home. I noticed it after a while. We have limited data, but we won't go over it any time soon.

So, did you get any great things for Christmas?

Hubby keeps saying that my phone was my Christmas present to myself.
lol...I suppose so. It sure cost enough!
