Doesn't it dry faster without a towel?
Yeah.... but when I take it down, I will automatically brush it...I don't want to brush my hair when it is still really wet. So I leave it up in a towel for a bit.
I see...? I think if I didn't brush my hair immediately though, I'd forget altogether.
lol...I wouldn't...if I wait for it to completely dry before brushing my hair....that would really hurt. I hate tangles.
I could probably do without brushing my hair at all. I sleep on it and don't brush in the morning after all.
I brush mine after I wash it...and when I get up in the morning...well...if I get dressed to go out or to work...if I am at home all day...I don't brush it. XD
I can't brush my hair dry. Terrrrrible idea.
Yeah, I have thick hair. If I don't brush it out when it's wet, it's an absolute nightmare to brush when it's dry. You know what I use? "It's a 10" leave-in conditioner. You only spray two or three times (not on the scalp), and then brush your hair. My bottle is a sample size (4fl oz). I've had this bottle for... I think like three years? And it's still a little under half-full. So if you go looking for it and see the price, DON'T RUN AWAY!!! The price for a bottle that will last AT LEAST three years is TOTALLY worth it.
Shampoos, I use Herbal Essences "long term relationship" if my hair is feeling particularly oily, and then Dove Pure Care Dry Oil shampoo. I used to use Head & Shoulders, and it worked for a long time to get rid of dandruff. But at some point it stopped working as well, so I switched to Dove and I love it. |
I use an antifrizz brush.
Which around here...I can only find at Ulta. |
Brushing curly hair is just bad usually. I have almost no tangles with or without brushing. It just won't look good if I do brush it dry.
I have wavy hair...although when it is around should length, it can be curly. Although...If I shower in the morning, and let my hair air dry, it will curl more.
That's why curly hair is best left air dried and untouched. It's the way to retain the curls. Brushing it pulls them out.
Yep. But you can tell when I don't brush my hair though. :/
I pat my hair down with water and lightly untangle it with my fingers in the morning. That's the technique that does me wonders. It air dries a little that way.
That doesn't work for me. Considering how long my hair is.
I suppose that would be harder. Sometimes I have to work at it in the morning, but for the most part, a little wet down gets it to curl naturally.
:D I do miss having curls...that's why I have thought about getting long layers.
I would mourn if my curls left!! [gonk]
Mine have kinda left...but I know if I cut my hair they will return. XD
make them come back!
Everyone says you want the kind of hair you don't have, but I don't want straight hair at all. |
I don't want straight hair either!
But so many curl haired people do. :(
I know! I don't know why either. I know sometimes I wish I had it...but only for a certain way to wear my hair...once...so it isn't even enough of a reason to straighten my hair for even a day.
I know one of my friends in high school tried straightening my hair once. But the time she got to the other side, where she started has already started curling back more than what it was before she started. :/ |
When my hair was longer, it did work better straight. I didn't know how to deal with it is all. I did straighten in high school because people told me I should because it was 'so cute'. And for colorguard, I needed more tamable hair to do the styles.
I got made fun of because of my hair. People either liked it, or it was "too long." :/
