I bought books. ;B I'm waiting to start reading on the first though to participate in that 50 book challenge thing. I know you can start anytime, but it would just be easier for me to wait till the first.
Ooh. It's New Year's Eve!

@Ari: I have this book I randomly picked up at Wal-Mart called "Divine by Choice." I started reading it in November, but then stopped because I wanted to wait until the new year to read it. It's pretty good so far. It looks like there are others too, but I don't know if they're part of the same story or just take place in the same environment. If it is a series, then I got the book that's in the middle I think. XD

Very nice! XD Still, that sucks to hear that you've gotten a middle book in a series to read first. D:
What other books have you picked up?
Do you have any genres of books that you prefer to read?

@Ari: Haha yeah, but I'm not bent out of shape about it.
I picked up the book "Fallen." I'm not sure if I'll read it next though because I have plenty of other books to read. I bought another book called "Art & Fear" that I'm a bit excited to read too. xD
I don't really have a genre I prefer to read, though I do read a lot of manga (not that that's really a genre, lmao). I suppose fantasy series and romance. As long as the fantasy isn't TOO sci-fi I can handle it. I tend to get confused in books when they throw you into new worlds with crazy names and extra languages and such. @[email protected]

Mmm.. mangas are nice.. I just need to get into them again. XD
So if you like fantasy, have you read the Twilight Saga yet?
Yeah, male bases are LOVE! <3 Females are okay. XD
Though, I'll still be 100% female behind the avatar, Ry! ;D

@Ari: Haha. I usually pick up more manga spontaneously at the bookstore than anything else, though I have been getting a lot of art-related readings lately.
Funny story about that (I don't know if it's actually funny but that is how the saying goes)... it was pointed out to me one day by my then-boyfriend that a "friend" of his was reading it. I didn't like the friend; so I avoided the book. Months later, I forgot about it, and actually picked it up on my own and then was reminded that that friend I didn't like had read it and again put it down.
More months later my now-husband made a new friend who was reading the series and by now hype had been circulating about it; so he picked it up to read himself. We were supposed to read it together, but honestly I wasn't interested. He kept on reading it right up to the last book and I kept on avoiding it.
I never read it, and I never plan to because the way he described it made me dislike it, the way it's portrayed in the movies doesn't interest me enough to read it, and there is way too much hype about it for me.
I'm not anti-Twilight, and if there wasn't so much hype about it I probably wouldn't mind it, but I digress...
Sorry about the rant.. xD

What sort of mangas do you read, IkuAki?
No worries, just read what you want. =) It's a free country, so you don't have to be forced to do things. :)
Though, that was quite an amusing story! >w<
And yeah, I didn't really like the movies compared to the books (but ain't that always the same for any book series turned movie). XD But I do have to admit that the cgi stuff the director of New Moon used to show the phasing into wolves by the wolfpack was pretty awesome indeed! <3

Thanks, Chikuma. =) Honestly, the hardest one will be finding out who plays who.. the rest are easy compared to that! XD
Though, I have a feeling the only way to find out who plays who is to be on staff! XD

The same as novels, but more comedy/romance types. I can't read any action because there is too much going on in them. @[email protected]
Haha, thanks. :P
I just hate how dramatic they make it seem and how selfish Bella is in the movies. The second one I think was better because the first one reminded me so much of bad acting it made me feel sorry for them!

Thank you for the donation and the luck, Chikuma. :) You as well, Lovers, thank you for the luck! =)
Mmmm.. nice, IkuAki! Though, I personally would prefer lots of action! I love seeing how manga artists draw it all! <3 But then I wish I could draw that well, so I stop reading for a while. >.< I think that's what I prefer books.. I can just read and allow my imagination to create a picture for me. XD <3
Yeah, I KNOW, RIGHT? The first movie sucked like hell. >.> Well, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson sucked.. but since they were the main characters, it made the rest suck. D: But the second movie was a LOT better, but Kristen and Robert still suck.. even though Kristen was a LOT better in the second movie. :3
If I was to be the director for the fourth movie, I'd totally threaten their roles (and mean it) if they couldn't act better. >.>;
Mmmm.. yeah, but it's not just the movies in my opinion, I find it's also the books. Bella's such a selfish little bitch. >.> Still, I find that I like her only when she's NOT paired with Edward. XD Edward's way too easy going on her.. always giving her what she wants.. *shakes head in disgust* I have my own preferences for fanfictions. >w<

@Ari: Gosh I don't remember the last action manga I read, but I've gotten plenty of manga I've never heard of just because I like the artwork. They tend to make reading easier for me since the picture is provided for me. :P I wonder if I'm reading books too fast.. :O
Haha, yeah the first movie was pretty bad. I don't mind romance and all, but I prefer if they're comedic in some way. Their whole love thing was too lovey dovey for me.. The main thing I dislike about Kristin in it was her having night terrors and using Jacob. (Though sad, I am glad she manned up in the end and told him she chose Edward, even though Edward was with her...) And Edward taking his shirt off near the end kind of made me feel sick. xDD;
Yeah, I agree. She is so naive and Edward is a pansy..

XD You probably are.. how long does it take you to read a manga, IkuAki? A regular novel with around 500 pages? With around 1000 pages?
Mmm.. manga graphics are AMAZING! But I just can't get myself to read them much anymore. D: I think it's cause of the pictures. It doesn't let me imagine much unless if I plan on diving into the world of fanfiction. >w<;
Yeah, Kristen is just a stupid, annoying, whiney, naive bitch. >.> Both her AND the character she portrays. >.>
But I don't feel it as strongly in the books and barely in fanfiction of non-canon couples with Bella in it. >w< But that's probably cause people make Bella a bit OOC so it's easier to work with. XD Gosh, I LOVE fanfiction non-canon couples! There's so much to explore! But it's SOOO hard to find a good fanfiction to read. D: And so hard to write good ones too! D:
I know! I hate Edward's character! He's such a idiot and weakling. >.>
But I love Stephenie Meyer's work! She's an amazing writer, and I'm considering on reading her book The Host. <3
That's good that you know, Ry! I wouldn't want you to think I was male behind the avatar! D: Besides, the way I type probably doesn't even seem male! XD And I'm sure you've seen pictures of me somewhere before?
I'm doing good! About to go for dinner at some restaurant! XD
