Oh definitely, Poet. I am still young enough...not even thirty yet. We're getting serious about it though...starting to track ovulation and all that jazz.
My two sisters won't be having kiddos, so it's up to me to continue on the blood line. Feel bad for our kids though since they won't have any cousins to pal around with at family functions. Guess my friend's kiddos will have to serve as acceptable substitutes. |

Of course...you guys here will know before the family and other friends. Just want to know that I am far enough long that bad things that could happen have a lower chance of happening before getting people's hopes up.
This month we hit the ovulation dead on...so we shall see. Keep your fingers crossed and all that. |

Yes I did DD. It was a lot of fun. We got along on almost everything.
If I have kids and they ask me who I love more... I'll just tell them "I don't pick favorites, I hate everyone equally" Just keep in mind Queen, sometimes you gotta be the parent, sometimes you gotta be their friend, otherwise once they hit the teen years you will just be an "authority figure"... |
No videos games during the weekdays and they can only play for an hour on the weekend total (just how it was with my mom for us), no cell phones and limited television.
Some of my friends that are older and have kids laugh at me when I say that my kids won't have cell phones. They think I am being WAY too idealistic. However, watching their kids with cell phones confirms my decision to not give my future kids phones. Between them losing the phones, abusing the privilege and their inability to actual police themselves with the phones. Their parents don't do much to control them on the phone either. Drives me nuts. Totally realize they are not my kids, but I've been tempted a few times to rip the damn things out their hands and smash it while they watch. Unbelievable how rude the kids can be. Poet, I would dial it back on the word hate...such a strong word. Try despise, or loath. |

Never had that much before, Dessert. Highest was 250k. The amount will be dropping back to 300k when I purchase the King's Crown from Zombie to auction off during the next event. Having the mother of all giveaways. Woohoo!
