Oh she is [yes] just at a distance it's really hard. Both of us are very inexperienced with relationships so neither of us know what that balance is. No amount of research seems to help give me answers.
In person you can just "do what feels right" (most of the visits have been very little talking since we didn't need to)... but at a distance we have to use words and stuff =/ |
That I totally understand, Poet. It's rough talking to the person you love and you wish they were there with you instead. Long Distance is rough. Trying to remember how I managed it with Rodd when he was over in Afghanistan. I loved listening to him talk about his day, the shenanigans he would pull.

How did you manage that? I mean there is so much to a relationship that you can't do over a phone or messenger...
Most we've managed is watching shows together. |
We never Skyped or anything. We just talked, where we see ourselves going, deep conversations about our lives. But, we were together with each other for almost two years before he went on deployment. Our relationship wasn't just talking, we had been physical.

That probably helps a lot when you've been in person a lot. of the 8 years I've known her, less than 4 months of it has been in person.
