Yes the threat of the dinosaur not coming on Christmas works but he was postal from injury he stubbed his toe and fell and bit his tongue so less easily soothed. lol.
Seriously though he wanted this Arlo plush dino from that new disney movie. We told him the good dinosaur will only come on Yule morning to little boys who have been good. Hes been like freaking gold since we told him that a couple of weeks ago. |

I just got an e-mail from Menewsha saying that the Winter of Festival Nights event is coming up soon! Guess I should really get my ass in gear and start putting the thread together. What games should I play for points? Seems the dice have turned people off. |

Humm yeah the dice get me every time. And I always forget to do the rolls or I mess up the format. Hangman seems to still be a favorite. Maybe a catch (insert pic item here) this quote post thingy. Or name this song, where you post some small clip of obscure lyrics. Or a finish this Quote. Something like that that is more interactive |
Those are some good ideas, Ivvy. I will also do the treasure hunt, people like to take pictures of stuff. Wondering if I should do a more Christmas/Holiday theme for folks to make it festive.

Thanks, and yes I like the pic hunts. A festive one would be fun but also have some non holiday stuff so those who dont celebrate western style can be included as well.

I am utilizing the test forum to get the thread set up how I want it and when the event starts I will copy and paste the posts over to the new event thread. Depending on the time I have to dedicate to the thread this event, will be how many games I offer and the things we play. As for the dice rolling, probably going to have people pick a special number, 1-100 and you include it with each post, quoted o course and if you hit your number it's additional points to your score for the big item. |
Sounds golden to me. :) I have no clue how much I will be on but I hope that its more than usual because I miss being on during events. And yeah try the tree

It's all right, poofing happens. About to poof myself, got the pesky thing called work tomorrow. Thanks to Christmas I get Friday off, bummer about no pay, but hey, if the event is going on, I shall be here for the bulk of the day posting.

Sweet action. I got Shark awake sadly just the two of us I irritated the hubbs earlier (lost track of time when he was alone with kids as I wrapped gifts) So he bailed on me and went to sleep. So now its me and Shark till he passes out then I am so out as well. :P Sleep well my dear friend who is making the epic nom nom cookies of lurve and all that shiz. I shall talk it up with ya tomorrow some time. :)

Where you at woman! My event thread is dead to say the least and I am kind of frustrated by that, but oh well. Seems like most of the usual posters are not on right now. Hoping to get my post count up for the event. On one hand I wish I was still unemployed because I could be here all day, every day. Yet, I am super thankful for my job. It's a mixed blessing to be sure. |

Ah well... I've been far too busy as of late to even post. I have been doing extern (intern that doesn't get paid) since the 7th, working 8 hours a day for my 200 hours of on the job experience in order to graduate and get my certification. I have however passed an exam called the EXCPT, so once I finish this extern I will be fully certified and ready to work owo The 13th is expected to be my last day currently, and then there is a small chance of being hired afterwards, otherwise I should be able to get a job somewhere pretty easily. But, I have a title now. CPhT [squee] May not be Dr. but it's a pretty cool feeling to have a title. |

Hey everyone. Got everything passed out for the event thread. Thinking that I want to start working on the thread for the next event so I can just set up and go.
I liked the idea of the elf game that Howdy had, but instead of elves, it will be a number and the numbers will have a point value that adds towards the ultimate prize, the V-Day Pin.
