I thought i would stop in and wish you luck. I see your doing pretty good. 2 of your quest items you just waiting on others.

So how is everything coming along so far?

Right now, I'm waiting to hear back from someone about the bee slippers. If I didn't already have the pandas, I'd go for them in the GBA. The person selling her set is not on very often and doesn't seem to read back into her thread, won't take PMs... basically, I'm on and stalking her!

Other than that, we're doing ok. Looking for a job, have a couple of fantastic leads, and feel pretty stoked! The kids are ok - all caught up on immunizations - and it's pretty calm here. How about you?

Pretty good. My bf is going to start looking for a job by sat or monday. He quit his the day before cloud got out of the hospital cus he was one of the night managers at lil ceasars and because he was late a few times cus we was at a out of town hospital she was demoting him and taking his pay back to worker pay and cut him from a 6 day work shift to a 3 day work shift.
So he quit and he was gunna start looking this week but we have some people moving in with us and also since cloud is home we are finishing the cleaning and stuff. Other then that we are good.

The weather people tell us its suppose to be warm here but instead its cold Grr them lol.

They weren't aware that Cloud was in the NICU?? Nice. I mean, there's a difference between blowing off a job and having a sick baby - in the hospital. My bf and I have a 5mo son, Otto. He was 5wks early, but only had respiratory distress and pneumonia. Other than that, he was robust enough to not have to go to the NICU. Still... our hospital was not too far and I roomed in. If he was worse, it would have meant a trip to the NICU in Columbus - over 2 hours from here.

Lots of rain here, lots of pollen too. Trees are blooming, but we've had enough rain to hopefully pull us out of a drought.

I wish you both luck with the job search - has he taken a look at Ameri Corps Vista? The pay is so-so, but who knows.

I have an 11yo daughter who is awesome as well! Otto is doing really well. They took him off of the preemie formula because he's now in the 60th percentile for length and weight :shock:

Cloud got off the premie formula before he left they started him a few days before he left because they said you couldnt find the formula in stores and its almost not WIC approved.

I live in muskogee so he was shipped to tulsa so its about a 30-1 hr drive. They knew he was up there but the owner of the store is very all for herself. And she had a trip a few days after he was born so denver was allowed off work for 4 days and then had to go back and so she was out of town and not knowing the traffic times of tulsa he was late a few times, but i told him it was good anyway cus when i worked there and she cut me from 6 days to 4 then to 2 days a week she was just pushing me to quit. I told him why give her what she wants just leave and it hurts her more.
We got a few rainy nights then it snowed but didnt stick it was gone the next day. The grass is growing to fast already lol.
In tulsa its standard that if there born before 36 weeks they have to go to the NICU and go through all the tests and imean there are a butt load and there annoying. He got sent home with a heart and breathing monitor. Which i personally dont think he needs cus he didnt have any problem with anyhting all 3 weeks but they said he had one time the heart rate dropped but its funny cus they never told us and we asked daily is everything was good. So my personal oppinion is they send it home with all premies to keep the monitor company open cus its outside the hospital. I mean its better safe then sorry but its not went off once and carring a extra back connected to him gets annoying.

Odd. WIC here covers the enfamil prenatal formula - that's how we were able to get it. Trick was finding it. Usually, the only place that had it was Wal-mart. I'm sure Cloud will be fine though!

Ya know, there are reasons why I don't like working with women or men who are afraid of women. When people are scared about their own job security or obtained their position of power by being terrible, they have good reason to expect others to do likewise. Still... karma is a bitch.

I'd suggest looking at your local dept of labor or - like I said before - Americorps. There are some government sponsored programs out there. Even for single dads who are trying to stay employed and support their kids. A lot of jobs you'd think are online aren't being posted. Some places don't even advertise. Plus, they are being super picky.

I looked last year before all this mess hit - we're at over 10% unemployment in GA - and was told I was over-educated and was scaring potential temp jobs away. I had one agent flat out tell me to take my education off my resume. Right now, I'm in cosmetology school while looking for a job. I have to start taking Otto to daycare next week :cry:

Right now i plan on being a stay at home mom at least until he gets older. For now i plan to be one but who knows what i will plan on doing in a few months or a year or who knows i may be forced to go back to work. With everything rising in price while your paycheck stays the same its hard to make a living.
We found a few places hiring in the newspaper for places around here. However he hasnt applied yet for the rush on getting people moved in and finishing the house work. He knows for sure he could get on at walmart his mother works there but thats a reason why he is avoiding it for as long as he can. We dont get along with his family. They dont like me i dont like them and let me tell ya. Ever since cloud was born they have done nothing but start drama so finally denver set his foot down and told them as long as there starting drama there not allowed to see cloud.
So far all we get is more drama so there only hurting themselves. I can live without them. We have for almost 4 years and we only felt it was right to let them know when i found out i was PG. I cant stand them but we was letting them know and they had nothing to do with us and we called to let them know he was born and the drama came in faster then nothing. Its crazy. I personalyl and kinda happy there starting crap. Im not the bad guy this time. Denver see's it full front and he is putting his foot down to not see them. Now how long it lasts is another thing.

Well, no clue how much longer my bf and I will be together. When my husband died, I found out quickly that there was no way I'd put myself into a position of depending on a guy again - but did it anyway, somewhat.

Family... I get along with his and my husband's family. Most of my cousins, aunts, uncles... but my sister's husband? Wow. Tried keeping the peace with that person for 20 years, and there is no longer a point.

Y'll need to focus on your family. The people in your family who don't want to be included will figure it out eventually.

Well me and my bf have been together for almost 4 years. When we first got together it was ok for the first like 2 weeks to a month and then ever since then jealous hit with them and my family and because he wanted to spend more time with me then them or something idk. But they havent liked me since and they have done things i would never thought a family would do.
I was raised very family oriented. We spent holidays together we ate dinner together etc. They did drugs most there child hood then once cleaned up denver said there parents went off and on and would be together and then leave each other. They sent denver to boys homes all the time cus he would defend me against his sister. I mean child things that the parents shouldnt even mess with like i stated once she was being a baby. About something idk and she said something and took it to her mom and so she got in on it and then denver did and then the cops arrive.
I mean i try and be civil but im at the end of my nerves with them.
But ya. The people in my house are the ones that mean the most to me. I love my older sister but she is stressful to be around to long lol
