I've always wanted to use the Oriental Fan since I won it before from the Quest Raffle, and I was only recently able to make a decent outfit with it because of winning my fan outfit from the Quest Raffle yet again last round. :> So, yes, now I'm happy that I can finally use it. xDD;;

It's too bad that the GBA has the rule about not being able to go for the other item in the "set".
It really limits things.

I wouldn't say that it limits things, but it does help towards the newer members who don't have items yet, I think. =O
And it helps especially if you're going for big ticket items like the Vday '07 items or the St. Patty's Day '07 items. Makes it so that more people have one item from the set than one person probably gonna win all the items from the set. xDD;;

In short, it has its pros and cons. XP <3<3

Well, the larger items I can never hope to win in the GBA, cuz these days you have to have tens, if not a hundred thousands of gold to have a prayer of winning...

Hey guys I've been really busy with school work, which has been stressing me out so much already that I've had a counseling appointment about it.
And then the Christmas party we were going to throw got canceled cause everyone told me that invitations weren't necessary and then when we told them when it would be they'd already made plans, basically cause they hadn't gotten an invitation weeks earlier.
Then i was so tired and worn out i agreed to loan my notes to a fellow student in my poli sci class and I'd get them back on friday. But then I forgot and I hadn't gotten her contact info so i had to email my prof embarrassingly to say that my notes were missing did he have them and he didn't so he sent an email to the rest of the ppl in the class asking about it so now everyone knows. And i finally got the phone # for the girl from another student and she did hand it in to the professor but she took it to the wrong office # so now i have to go to the school and look for it and the exam i need them for is this saturday. Plus I think that my take home exam for another class was tucked in the book and if not i have to go back to the school tomorrow to get another from the prof.
Then yesterday I got a notice in the mail about a rent increase and afterwards my mom phoned to say that my great uncle Harold had past away so now I have to do 2 essays for the 16th and a take home exam due on the 21st and an exam on saturday the 12 and a funeral on monday the 14th and a follow-up counseling appointment that's not till the 23rd cause it's busy this time of year.

So ... I havn't been online a lot.

All these things on top of each other can be really overwhelming, can't they?

I went to the school and I did get my notes back but the take-home exam wasn't with them so I guess I've lost it somehow so i sent that professor an e-mail and hopefully he can send it to me as an attachment so i don't have to take an hour out of tomorrow to get another copy.

Apparently there's a policy where if you miss an exam due to a death in the family you can take it later but it's really the essays that I won't have time for and I couldn't find anything on that.

Also the funeral is in my home town so it's a two hour drive to get there plus two coming back and they chose the 14th because we had to come down there anyways on the 14th for a doctors appointment and a wedding venue meeting and a meeting with my financial investment guy and we were going to have dinner with jer's buddy so he can ask him to be his groomsmen in person.

So now we'll have to cancel one or more of those things for the funeral and wear black all day as well. I might have to buy a new dress or top, but i don't know when I'll have time for that.

I'm so tired all the time. One prof is letting us hand in our essays before the 22 and he'll mark them and send them back so we can correct and get a better mark so maybe I'll let him know the situation and ask when the very latest I can hand in the essay for him to mark for corrections.

I figure I'll get anywhere from a 70% to a b+ I'm not too worried about it, there are more important things going on. i doubt i could've failed the class. Anyways i'm off tomorrow for my big busy day. can't sleep though, going to try some milk

I was never able to convince myself that I didn't need to study for something.
I always freaked out, and had to cram info right up until the last minute...

I only study because I know I'll be stupid not to.

Although, my studying only consists of reading my notes once... >.<;; Which for a lot of people doesn't even count as studying. Lolz. xDD;;
