Hatake Ayumi 12-10-2010 09:30 PM

Supposedly it hurts more... but... I'd probably get a tattoo on my feet?
o w o
Maybe?

Heyhey... I don't even get a toy car or something?

Chickie Nuggs 12-10-2010 11:38 PM

Yeah, I heard that too. I guess the nerves are more sensitive in the feet.

Cherry Who? 12-10-2010 11:41 PM

One needs only to step on a Lego to know that.

Hatake Ayumi 12-10-2010 11:59 PM

:gonk:
Ohgeebus!
Don't remind me!
/phantom pain/

Cherry Who? 12-11-2010 01:23 AM

Seriously. The arches of my feet hurt so much just from writing that.

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 07:21 AM

*hands Hata a HotWheels car*

@Hammy- I... I thought you liked the apartment I bought you! And what about our RP parties? They're not in my basement, but they're still pretty creepy and nerdy...

@Scooter- I got rid of all my trading cards forever ago. xD But I still eat Doritos and watch nerdy physics movies!

@Howdy- Don't worry, Hammy's basement (an apartment with a basement??) is less special than yours, at least!

...Because it doesn't have me in it! :insane:

Cherry Who? 12-11-2010 07:36 AM

You got rid of your trading cards? I've still got all my pokemon cards. Also some... Sailor Moon cards. Not really sure what that's about. I never played the game or knew how to play it, I just got them because I liked Sailor Moon. I also have some Tenchi Muyo cards. They're not for a game, they're just scenes from the show.

...
That show made no seeeeense. But I loved it hardcore. I don't understand.

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 07:54 AM

Yeah, my cousin was really into Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon cards at one point, so I just gave him all of mine because I didn't really play (and never really had). I did the same thing you did with Sailor Moon with Harry Potter, haha. I bought a whole bunch of trading cards because I was a total Harry Potter geek. Except I actually did play that game sometimes... with my dad... but mostly I just sorted them and thought about how cool they were. Especially the holographic ones. :B

Cherry Who? 12-11-2010 07:56 AM

Now that you mention it, I think I got a few Harry Potter cards too... Just a little pack or two. Mm, it must have been such a good time to be a trading card manufacturer, us kids were so gullible for that stuff.

I did actually play the pokemon card game a few times with my mom, but I could never get anyone else to play. I had fun with it, but usually she didn't have time for a full game, since it took a while. I mostly just liked collecting them and trading them.

I've got a few binders upstairs with those three-ring card sleeve sheets in them. My pokemon binder is MASSIVE. And it's got this novelty GIGANTIC pokemon card in the cover. It's got Articuno, Moltres, and Zapados on it. I should use that one in play - "HA! BEAT THAT, MOTHERFUCKER."

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 07:58 AM

Yeah, I tried to play a game of Pokémanz with my dad when I got my first deck, but there weren't enough cards to do much and it was boring anyways. I preferred organizing them and trading them. xD

Nevermind, you aren't the cool dork I thought you were. :talk2hand:
I got rid of mine too...

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 09:22 AM

Haha, we can be loser dorks together! Go Team Loser~ *makes an L with fingers*

HamletSpamlet 12-11-2010 11:00 AM

I made my pokecards into wallets for me and Dems. They are awesome~
I still have a box of 'em in storage, but the only cards I have on hand now are standard playing cards, and Wakfu trading cards, which are all in French so I have no idea what they say or how to play. Not that anyone knows what the fuck that show is anyway. xD

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 11:49 AM

I am so jealous of your pokéwallets. T_T I just have pokémans cards in my wallet.
And you are the indiest, look at you, watching your cocktoo and listening to your Mindil Beach Markets! :illgetu:

HamletSpamlet 12-11-2010 11:55 AM

Shut up, don't cheapen them with that vile word.

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 11:58 AM

I meant it only in the purest sense! They're not with a label, are they? D:

HamletSpamlet 12-11-2010 12:00 PM

I think they just got one, actually.

ghostPastry 12-11-2010 02:47 PM

Oh neat! Well that means more albums, then. :DD

Chickie Nuggs 12-11-2010 06:36 PM

Oh Hammy and Annerz, you guys are so silly. I can't believe you guys were up till the break o' dawn shit chattin, but I guess that's because of my new sleep schedule. Any time past 10:00pm is far too late for me now and I was up till 1:30am. :gonk:

Cherry Who? 12-11-2010 08:21 PM

Make me a pokewallet, Hammy! I command you!

HamletSpamlet 12-11-2010 09:00 PM

That requires shipping, and going to the post office s'more... :gonk:
It's pretty easy to do yourself, though~ How to Make a Playing Cards Wallet: 4 steps (with pictures) - wikiHow

Cherry Who? 12-11-2010 11:10 PM

Ahh, I did something like that once. Though I used newspaper comics.

Captain Howdy 12-11-2010 11:48 PM

I used to play Pokemon and I still have a whole collection of them, 98% of them Japanese. ;D

I also used to sell them too. Made really good money. :3

... *wishes he remembered how to play*

Cherry Who? 12-12-2010 01:06 AM

Wow. I've only got a few Japanese ones.
I did buy this one pack of a bunch of foreign Pikachus, though. French, Japanese, German, etc. All of the pictures were different too. In one of them he was surfing.

ghostPastry 12-12-2010 01:35 AM

I think I've only ever owned one Pocket Monsters card (it was in Japanese), and it's the special energy card and it's holographic. I've still got it, too. =w=
