Brianna - Well... I wanted to go to prom with my boyfriend. As you can assume, that didn't happen. So that in itself upset me quite a bit.
Secondly, he had wanted to take this girl he was friends with who I was very... I had problems with her. He wasn't going to take her as DATE date, though. But still. I'd get mad about it and he'd be like "No one at my school sees prom as a romantic thing, the dates are not a big deal" and so then I'd be like "THEN WHY DO YOU NEED ONE?!"
Then some other guy who had already graduated ended up taking that girl, and my boyfriend... overreacted quite a bit. Probably because he's bipolar. But the amount of angry that he got was disproportionate and made it seem like he was jealous.
So... anything to do with prom just brings that all back and makes me want to break something.

Yeah, I don't have enough gold either. >< Like Hatake said, I'll probably need about 30k, and I've only got 11k. :( I foresee lots of harbor fishing in my future. :lol:

Queen - Man, that sucks. :( But look on the bright side... at least he's not in the middle east. I assume from what you said that he's not really in any danger right now.

Not this deployment he isn't in the middle east. Last deployment he was though and that was a bit rough.

He is actually cleaning up his room for inspection since the new battalion is coming in shortly to take over the building he is in right now. I really hope that he gets to come home sooner then they are telling him, but that doesn't seem likely. :(
