lol i loved psychology when i was in school except for the boring videos which i slept through. cardio can fun but running 3 miles i cant do even when i was in school and swimming i cant even swim 4 laps without being tired out.
do you have blocked scheduling? that does take forever i think its an hour per class which would bopre me except for the gym part i loved that.

Our blocked scheduling is weird. It's easier to list out in order to explain than to just... well, explain. lol

1st Period through 3rd Period are your average 45 minutes; then the next five periods (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th) are all blocked somehow. For instance, I have 4/5 Study Hall/Cardio, which totals 55 minutes. And then I have 6/7 Study Hall - another 55 minutes. And then my lunch finally comes around, which is 8th period. After that is 9th and 10th period, which are your average 45 minutes once again.

4/5/6/7/8 are all blocked for the lunch periods, so people have enough time to eat and get to their next class, etc. ... The thing is, the lunch period is technically half of a block period, so it only ends up being a good 27-ish minutes in length. Which sucks, 'cause you're more or less literally choking down your food. :gonk:

Sorry if I confused you - our block scheduling is much, much weirder than most of the schools that have block scheduling. We're more out of date, in my opinion. :lol:

its ok i kinda get it for 4th and 5th run into one another and 6th and 7th run into one another so basically it sounds like you only have 7 periods in the day with the way you explained it. im kinda confused why they do that why dont they just do an hour per class and have only 8 periods in the day.

That's what other schools do - the one hour per class thing! P:
I really don't know why we don't do it, because it would make our lives a lot less stressful - not to mention, we'd probably score higher on standardized tests, etc., etc.
I feel like we'd get more learning in during one-hour classes, and we'd also be less stressed out, looking at the clock and waiting for the bell to ring, etc. We'd actually have time to sit down, relax, listen to the teacher, do assignments... I think our school board is just full of imbeciles. :lol:

lol i think your school board is just behind the times and cant afford to pay the teachers for the hour changes that are required for regular block scheduling even if it is alot easier. im with you as far as block scheduling being less stressful but maybe it would be more, not everyone can handle 1 hour periopds day in and day out. not to mention that block scheduling requires alot more work what would the teachers do for the extra hours added to the day you cant just sit and twiddle your thumbs and do homework for part of it. its got be an actual learning period.
