A friend of mine is wanting to quest the CIs and is starting with the March items. I'm trying to help him put together his quest thread but I'm stumped on some wording. The theme of his quest is Buzzard Day because it's in March and he's questing for the March CIs. *suffering a bout of writer's block*

I bet it takes a little while to do the updates for the system since there can't be a lot of people working on the program.

One person is working on it, I think. But I think she/he has been really busy.

I think I might have heard somewhere that they were working on a new way of creating dream avatars, but I'm not sure if that was true or not. I hope so. I'd like to be able to see what I can come up with, new items included.

Yeah, totally understandable that the program wouldn't be completely up to date.

Yep! Good ol' TekTek. I liked playing around with it. Do either of you know if in the past Menewsha allowed you to preview the items in your inventory on your avatar before saving the changes and, if so, why they did away with that?

I know if you hover on the item in the shop, you can see the item on a naked avatar.

They haven't had that since I've been here at least. I don't think they've figured out the coding for that yet. I hope they do in the future. Especially for hair items. It's hard to know where an item sits when it just kind of hovers over a bald head.

Tektek is a really nice set up. Although it bothers me a little bit that you can't tell what item is not going to be able to be worn with another in the actual site. But otherwise they've done a great job.

Yeah, I discovered that but I'm not always that great at seeing how different pieces fit together in my mind's eye.

Yeah, I'm one of those people who likes to get items I like and then see what different ways I can put them all together. It kind of makes it like a challenge in a way.

Yep. Sometimes I choose an item out of my inventory that I haven't used in a while (if at all) and try to build an avatar around it. It's fun. ^_^

My greatest weakness when it comes to putting outfits together for my avatar is my inability to complete a look. It's not difficult for me to put a solid outfit together but the smaller details that really set an avatar apart from the rest of the flock evade me.
