Yeah, I know what you mean. There are some really nice-looking avatars out there and I can never seem to figure out how they think to try all the items they do together. Some people have serious coordination talent.

Yep yep. I'm willing to bet that those users are never out of fashion in real life either.

I just discovered that the multi items can be used in their various forms at the same time even if you only own one of them! w00t!
That beats the hell out of Gaia's bullshit of having to buy seven of a single item because it has multiple uses just to use the full range available.

Yeah, I like the fact that there isn't a need to buy more than one of an item to equip all of its uses.

It certainly helps keep down the price of the EIs and CIs since you don't have to own half a dozen of them to be able to do anything cool with the items. I think that's a big factor in why Gaia doesn't do the same thing - it's a nice profit for them not to.

I think in a way though it makes people not want to spend as much time on Gaia because they feel so overwhelmed about questing for anything. I liked Gaia a lot more when I first joined. It was simpler.

It was a lot simpler. It was easier to meet people and actually talk to them. I had been trying to reconnect to Gaia but I just didn't seem to be able to have a conversation with anyone - always got passed over in threads.

Yeah, I like having a closer, more tight knit community better. It feels like on Gaia, you make friends for a day and then they never talk to you again. :/

Definitely! A big part of why I signed up for Menewsha was because of the smaller size and the stricter posting requirements. It's similar to why I made the leap from LiveJournal to Dreamwidth.

Yeah. I think the thing I like best about Menewsha though is that most people don't talk in chatspeak. An lol here and there is fine, but shortening every word until it's practically illegible? It drives me crazy. And the shift key is there for a reason. I wish people would actually use it. ^^

*doesn't use the shift key* :XD
It drives all of my friends nuts when they watch me type but I always use the capslock button when I need an uppercase letter. Booyah to the shift key! I gots my capslock right here!

xD That's awesome. That's okay though. It drives my friends nuts that, when I'm feeling really lazy, I only type with my right hand. I'm getting pretty good at it too. ^^

Hey, being able to type with one hand is necessary skill. I do it all the time while balancing a plate of food, a baby in my lap or a cat demanding attention. In my opinion the only thing that absolutely requires two hands is a 20 or 40 man raid. And maybe the final boss in a dungeon if I'm anything but the healer.

My cat will sit on top of my arms while I'm typing so I don't even have time to pull one out. xD
That's true. ^_^

I type with both hands but I'll use my right one if one of my boys decide they want to watch me play the games on here or to look at the avatars.

My cats vary. It's happened before that I've had a cat laying across the top of the monitor, another lounging on the printer, a third on the desk itself partially taking up the mouse pad and using the mouse itself as a pillow and the fourth in my lap watching the screen. It was a mountain of fur.

xD Wow.
I've come to the conclusion that cats really don't like it when you're not paying attention to them 24/7. My cat will do anything she can to keep me from doing anything productive.

Lol, cats are attention seekers. We haven't had one since last year. He was a cute little ball of orange fluff but after he decided he didn't like using the litter box we had to give him to someone else. That and the boys were kinda rough with him.

Yeah, my cat didn't like my brother at first because he would chase her all over the house. He was about 5 years old I think. ^_^

Yeah, cats don't like young kids because those kids don't know that pulling on a tail or chasing the cat is bad.

I think she knew I was typing about her. She just came up and got in my face. xD

Sounds like a cat! My furry kids seem to do alright with my nephew who is around 2.5. Yeah, he chases them but they also know that they can dash under the couch where he can't reach and hide if necessary.
Spawn, my 4.5 month old, has recently started grabbing for my oldest cat and she did get upset and run away the one time he got a good hold on her tail but other than that it's been .. okay. Not great, but okay. She likes to remind him of her place on the totem pole of importance by walking over him to reach me for pets.

It probably helps that it's not a really young cat. My cat was 5 months old when we got her. She was really skittish for a long while. She even bit me on occasion.

I had just realized that I hadn't seen your thread on my list of threads with replies thingy on the My Account page! I knew something was different. I was just slow on the uptake.
How's it been, Twethereal?
