I'm not typically a fantasy person.
There are some fantasy-type stories that I like to read, but I tend more towards the "hard" science fiction...

And I love over in the fantasy realm and tend to be wary of sci-fi unless it's sci-fi and fantasy

Some authors do really well in the scifi/fantasy genre...
Like Anne McCaffery....

But in the fantasy world, I love Mercedes Lackey. I'll read just about anything that she writes!

I could never get into Anne McCaffery.

oh I love Mercedes Lackey. I haven't read a lot of her stuff, but I love her Arrows of the Queen series

there aren't squirrels here. we have prairie dogs.

I love to watch our little furry critters.

My sister hates them though. They eat the seed that she puts out for the cardinals.
She just calls them "Nasty Rodents".

Hubby wants to get a BB gun. They keep digging up his flower bed.
Lol...there are a bazillion nuts out there, and they keep burying them like they think they're going to all go away.

Actually, I think he'd rather shoot some of the people who walk their dogs and let them do their business on our lawn without picking it up.

awful as that is, it makes more sense than putting doggy poo in a plastic bag and throwing it away. in the plastic bag, it can't degrade and properly return to nature. it messes up the natural way of things.

But that doesn't give them the right to let their dog put that poo on our grass for my hubby to step in.

It's also illegal here.
I don't care how "natural" you say it is...it's not right. WE shouldn't have to suffer because they take their dog out to let it go on our lawn instead of their own lawn.

lately, youtube has been loading too slow. I want to finish watching my video before I go eat. will it load in 20 minutes? I don't know.

I finished watching season 1 of idol army. I've just started season 2 and I'm already laughing. rofl, did the show go over budget? suddenly they're filming outside the company and using a flat rock as a dance stage and weeds they picked as the flowers to give to the girls.

that is weird...
