Okay, well alpha/beta/omega fics are basically an excuse to make people behave way more animalistically than they normally would. The world is divided into alphas, betas, and omegas. And omegas will go into a heat which basically leads them to being insatiable towards sex. These fics usually involve mpreg, sometimes dubious consent. and really are just an excuse for gratuitious porn. and I found a person who posted this big long explanation for what the verse is.
