interesting. why do people bother giving names to all these things anyway? and I still don't know what you mean by 'verse'.

Because it makes them easier to identify if you are looking for it. It's the same as having AU, PWP, mpreg. It just identifies what type of fic you are reading
and verse is kinda like a different realm. short basically for universe.

i see lots of terms, though admittedly, I see them mostly in the bigger fandoms that need to draw those lines because there are so many fics.

PWP is this weird consterning thing b/c it could have three meanings porn with plot, plot what plot, and porn without plot...
so yeah. It's not the most effective of terms, but most it's used int the plot what plot category

I think Avengers counts as a big fandom Kat. As does Kingdom Hearts.
Though admittedly not as big as Harry Potter, Glee, or Supernatural or Dr. Who

no multi-meanings is not good. but really a pwp fic you can pretty much be guaranteed there's porn, so it gets its point across

I went to the grocery store with my dad. we bought less than usual, but for some reason, it took so much longer since it was my dad.

he kept staring at the meat and I have no idea why it took that long to get a few steaks.

we're making steaks for the fourth. obviously.

he was probably looking for good marbling or something like that
