so I was reading a fic earlier (arthur/eames) and I realized something about pairings I like.
I like one of two types of pairings.
One where neither of them are willing to sit down and have an actual conversation about how they feel.
Or one where only one of them is willing to do that.

That's not really the sort of things I look for. Actually, I don't like lots of sitting down and talking about feelings.

You did notice I said that I look for pairings where they won't? Even if they need to.
So most of the fic is them not talking about it. which leads to this big blow out fight type thing.

Well I'm of the opinion that every relationship needs communication. But characters like Tony Stark aren't really the types to sit down and talk about anything

well, sometimes they communicate normal so no one ever needs to sit and really talk. or you just read a oneshot and there's no need to talk.

Gary and Declan, they've totally tried the relationship thing. It lasted like a week cuz they'd kill each other and Gary was even more allergic to commitment then than he is now.
