it was a really great episode.

both. it was interesting, but we spent too long there in my opinion.

museums are one of those things that I can usually only handle for a short time

unless it's an art museum. but reading plaques all day?

yeah. your eyes start to hurt after awhile.
and like the natural history museum in new york? it was interesting but far too big!

there are plenty of museums I've spent the entire day in. the british museum of...natural history? and the Louvre are the only two that I felt I wasn't ready to leave when closing time came. eh, the Smithsonian air and space museum was pretty cool too.

I really like the natural science museum here. I can spend all day there. and spend far more hours in their jewel fault than most people would

okay, I can spend days around rocks. I've been twice to the mineral museum at New mex tech. I feel like I could just sit there and study all sorts of rocks. I don't care all the much for cut gems, but rocks in the natural state are sooo beautiful to me! just looking at veins of different minerals or crystal structures!

My favorite is definitely natural crystals. I love how they just fragment themselves into these beautiful shapes.

crystals are so beautiful. I have a thing for quartz of every kind. amethyst and smokey quartz especially. I find gems like the garnet interesting because they come in different colors than you'd expect.
