No. Characters like that are my specialty. Though I guess they are annoying because I tend to make them go all putty too quick.

My character Jex is like that. I have issues with making him a jerk in the beginning though because I wrote some of the later scenes early on when my laptop was dead. I was writing all over the place in my novel then.

definitely. And I really love asshole type characters! I LOVE stubborn ukes who are resistent to being ukes especially if they have a delinquent or jerkish air to them but a loney and huggable center. They're so cute in a totally different sort of cute from normal cute characters! [heart]

Sassy sounds right. And nerdy. there's a lot of nerdy going on lately. You don't write near as much though, so you may not have a pronounced type.
Really, I'll write anything. Adorable assholes are my favorites in a story, but I don't get much chance to write them. I think my only consistency is persistence in relationships or other forms of stubborness.
