It really is, but it's exactly what I wanted. the kitties are very much a part of the story.

no. it's actually pretty typical rom com stuff. the pets are the reason that the two main characters meet and fall in love. The pets bond so the owners have to spend time together. The story starts with the pet finding the stray kitten though.
and then there's the twist that the owners were lovers in a past life and died tragically due to typical historical drama forbidden romance reasons and now they're reborn...except now they're both guys and don't remember their past life...yet. So yeah, typical.

Supernatural logic: battling a siren that imitiates what men desire most to lure them into their trap. usually buxom gorgeous women. To get Dean? the siren imitates another dude that dean can be bros with. I just. what?

My half of the idea was normal. I didn't come up with the reincarnated souls part. But still it's a good idea even if it's crazy right?

oh yeah, hard never stopped me from doing anything! I like complicated plots and I have a good partner with this one who will take her share of the story responsibility.

Yeah as a writer's tactic it makes sense.
however by doing that with in the show all it does is lend credence to the Dean is gay for Cas thing that goes around in the fandom cuz that's how fandom works (and that ship is hella popular)

Right now Dean and Cas are both about a million percent down with each other's shit.
