That i have no clue. but it seems to be a pretty specific set of circumstances that it's used in so maybe that circumstance didn't arise, or they don't use it often?

It's just so strange. I will never accept that expression as correct. It just confuses me and it's hard to know what really happened.

I like doctor who well enough, but I really like the shows I already watch. I don't think I'll ever prefer british tv most.

well i've not met a british show i didn't like yet, and i've met plenty of american shows that were just crap. and i'm sure britain has them too, but haven't found them yet
